Much like a fine wine--or an episode of "Saved By The Bell"--Weezer just gets better with age.
Case in point: The band's newest video for their latest single, "Memories." The clip, shot mostly on Super-8 cameras, finds the power-pop quartet bro-ing down with some familiar faces, like Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O and the rest of the "Jackass" crew. (After all, the song also appears on the soundtrack of "Jackass 3D.")
When our friends at MTV News made a visit to the "Memories" set a couple weeks ago, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo remembered hanging out with Knoxville back in Hollywood in the early '90s. The two would play basketball together, and Rivers even commented on the aspiring actor having "nice manners."
It's been almost 20 years since the two first met, but they were able to relive the good ol' days for the band's new video. In it, Weezer performs poolside while the Jackass peeps skate, bike and even sing some back-up vocals. Ah, "Memories."
