Peaks and valleys. That pretty much sums up T.I.'s year. In March, the Atlanta rapper was released from a halfway house, where he'd been serving a sentence for gun charges, and he immediately began work on King Uncaged, his long-awaited seventh album. Things got even better, late in the summer, when his film "Takers" debuted at No. 1 at the box office.
T.I.'s 2010 took a turn for the worse, however, when he and his wife were arrested on drug charges in Los Angeles earlier this month.
With all that tumult, T.I. seems remarkably cool and calm in this interview, which, admittedly took place before his most recent legal troubles. In this exclusive Buzzworthy interview, the self-proclaimed king of the South talks about his time in prison with a direct clarity: "In the joint, the main rule is kill the clock--one tick at a time. You do whatever you can. I don't really want to expound too much on prison because it's so passe.... Time to move on, Champ."
T.I.'s interview isn't all about passing time in jail, though. On a lighter note, T.I. talks about how learning to play bass is on his bucket list and praises Chris Brown's stunt work in "Takers."
