When Drake performed "Fancy," his Thank Me Later jam for the ladies, at the 2010 MTV VMAs, he surprised viewers by opening the song with a suited-up Mary J. Blige, vamping over some sweet piano lines played by producer Swizz Beatz. Upon viewing this awesome meeting of the R&B minds, most viewers probably thought to themselves, "This needs to be a remix" (though maybe one or two stray hungry folks found themselves considering a snack).
In a great example of the universe listening to your demands, we happily present to you Drake's "Fancy" remix, featuring Mary J. Blige and Swizz Beatz re-creating their lovely take on the song from the 2010 MTV VMAs. A jazzy, piano-driven vamp at the beginning features some incredible vocal work from Mary, and then things segue into Drake's come-shop-with-me verses.
