It's hard to tell what's more impressive: Justin Timberlake's acting-career-making performance in the film "The Social Network," in which he plays Napster cofounder Sean Parker, or the fact that J.T. successfully mated a cardigan and a double-breasted blazer at a screening of the flick.
Either way, the above shot was snapped at the the Cinema Society screening of the film last night in New York City. As Parker, Timberlake injects the film with some bright lights, big city dreams, playing the devil on the shoulder of Facebook cofounder Mark Zuckerberg, played by Jesse Eisenberg.
It's pretty funny to see the film and watch Timberlake, as Parker, espouse the way he revolutionized the music business. You'd have to imagine that Timberlake, the artist, has a few bones to pick with the effect file-sharing services such as Napster had on the music industry and record sales. That's why they call it acting, I guess.
"The Social Network" opens tomorrow, Oct. 1.
