The past two years have been a nonstop on-the-go-fest for power-pop band Disco Curtis, who we first hipped you to in January. Warped Tour, touring with Rooney, recording, Tumbling and a song featured on an episode of "Jersey Shore." And now this: lead singer/songwriter Tanner Howe's announcement that he'll be the only member supporting Disco Curtis.

Check out what Tanner Howe wrote to us about AJ, Garrett and Brendan leaving the band and taking on Disco Curtis as a solo project.

This was very much an amicable split. AJ, Garrett and Brendan all came to me individually and discussed their schooling opportunities. They explained to me that they simply wanted to go back into education and experience the college life. They remain dear friends of mine; therefore, I would never want to hold them back from doing whatever makes them happy in life.

For AJ, Garrett, and Brendan, college has always been a possibility. In high school, they were studious and had dreams of one day going to college. All three members have been accepted into wonderful schools, and I support them in their endeavors.

I had the vision for this project and began writing songs long before anyone else was involved. I started Disco Curtis and will continue Disco Curtis. So I'll be experimenting with new styles and sounds to find what best defines me as Disco Curtis.

Next, I'll be hitting the studio harder than ever this fall to write and record new Disco Curtis songs with Bryan Todd (that's him above), who's worked with Miley Cyrus and Big Time Rush. And I'll stay in touch with fans via Facebook, Twitter, Stickam chats, etc., as much as possible!

So, expect DC to release new music in 2011, most likely in the form of a debut full-length album. Once new music has been released, expect lots of touring! I am ecstatic to get back on the road in 2011 and see new and familiar faces. This is an exciting time in the Disco Curtis family, and I am thankful for the continuing support from fans.

Like stages of grief, there are stages of processing an M.I.A. video. First there's a kind of dumbfounded, eyebrow-raising befuddlement as you wonder whether you're actually watching a music video or not. Then there's the moment where you say to yourself, "I can't believe this is M.I.A.'s new music video. I am surprised. It is not a traditional music video, that's for sure." Or something of that nature.

Then you feel weird because you realize you were talking to yourself out loud about M.I.A. videos when you were supposed to be working or studying or whatever.

Then! Then something strange happens. You become kind of intoxicated by M.I.A.'s whole subversion of the generic music video, and eventually, whether you "like" it (because, in a way, M.I.A. doesn't really care if you like it or not), you become sort of entranced by it.

So, here we have M.I.A.'s video for "Story To Be Told," from her recent album, Born Free. M.I.A. has been nice enough to set up a little website where the clip is streaming. What will you find there? Oh you know, the usual... Psychedelic, late-'90s Internet visuals that employ a similar motif to her album cover, and lyrics, rendered in the style of one of those Captcha identity certification programs. Totally normal. Just like making a video about rounding up and killing redheads (which was the theme of M.I.A.'s "Born Free" video).

All Justin Bieber wanted was a Five Wing Flappertizer. But when you're a certified boss like the Biebs, the kind of situations like the one above (yes, that's Justin Bieber with a bunch of pantyhosed Hooters waitresses) they just happen, dog. And they've been happening with more and more frequency.

The other week at the VMAs, we found incriminating photos of Justin Bieber kissing some very famous ladies. Last month we took a look at Justin Bieber's funniest and badass moments, Segway escape, revolving door fail, Chuck Norris fetishism and all. This month we're taking a look at 5 of Justin Bieber's most recent swagged-out moments.

1. Justin Bieber Goes To Hooters: Look, lots of dudes go to Hooters for the wings or because they need a quiet place to read "The Hunger Games." But Justin Bieber goes for the friendly service. And the pantyhose.

2. Justin Bieber Makes Out With His "Baby" Costar: If Kim Kardashian caught a lot of Twitter heat just for joking about her love for Justin Bieber, just imagine what's going to happen to Justin's tour-opener and "Baby" costar, Jasmine Villegas. Also? Props for kissing girlfriend in a Honda. Way to keep it real!

3. Justin Bieber Enters His 2010 VMA Performance By Getting Chased By Screaming Fans.
Justin showed all the VMA veterans how it should be done. Chauffeured to the spot in a cherry red convertible with dozens of screaming fans behind you. When you look up "Like A Boss" in the encyclopedia you see this picture:

4. Justin Bieber Beats Jaden Smith In A Dance-off: Take on the Karate Kid in a dance-off? Biebs is just crazy like that. Earlier this month, Bieber and Jaden Smith (star of the Karate Kid remake) engaged in a dance battle at a New York nightclub. Kevin Rudolf was the soundtrack, and the winner, according to witnesses, was Bieber.

5. Justin Makes A Belieber Out Of Miley Cyrus: Despite previously claiming to be immune to Bieber fever, Miley Cyrus joined Justin onstage at his Madison Square Garden concert for a duet. But, as the pic below suggests, Miley's temperature started rising pretty quickly.

Peaks and valleys. That pretty much sums up T.I.'s year. In March, the Atlanta rapper was released from a halfway house, where he'd been serving a sentence for gun charges, and he immediately began work on King Uncaged, his long-awaited seventh album. Things got even better, late in the summer, when his film "Takers" debuted at No. 1 at the box office.

T.I.'s 2010 took a turn for the worse, however, when he and his wife were arrested on drug charges in Los Angeles earlier this month.

With all that tumult, T.I. seems remarkably cool and calm in this interview, which, admittedly took place before his most recent legal troubles. In this exclusive Buzzworthy interview, the self-proclaimed king of the South talks about his time in prison with a direct clarity: "In the joint, the main rule is kill the clock--one tick at a time. You do whatever you can. I don't really want to expound too much on prison because it's so passe.... Time to move on, Champ."

T.I.'s interview isn't all about passing time in jail, though. On a lighter note,  T.I. talks about how learning to play bass is on his bucket list and praises Chris Brown's stunt work in "Takers."

Yes, at this point Rihanna and Katy Perry's bachelorette weekend in Vegas is quite literally yesterday's news. But when we came across this classic photo of Rihanna, we couldn't resist posting about it.

Have you ever, in your entire life of looking at pictures of Rihanna, seen anyone with a more perfect, "Is Rihanna gonna have to cut a Cirque du Soleil performer" face on? My word! What did these two clowns (LOL) say to her? Whatever it was, Rihanna is really communicating the words, "oh," "no," "you" and "didn't," with incredible clarity. We can feel it!

You know, we just can't start the day with such shade being thrown on two Cirque du Soleil employees. We must replenish ourselves with a kinder, gentler Rihanna...

Whew! Much better!

Amber Rose sighting! Amber Rose sighting! While her ex, Kanye West, has been making plenty of headlines with his tweets, free songs, upcoming album and incredible 2010 MTV VMAs "Runaway" performance, Amber Rose has just been concentrating on being Amber Rose. She's doing Amber, if you will.

The bald beauty turned up at London Fashion Week, checking out Pam Hogg's show last night, wearing an incredible, black feathered jacket and some cute glasses. But she wasn't just there to watch; she was there to work, too! Amber Rose also walked the catwalk at Body Amr's show on Saturday night.

Everyone who watched the 2010 MTV VMAs had an opinion on the surprises (Rihanna!), the performances (too many to mention in parentheses!), the host (Chelsea Handler!) and the meat dress (IT WAS MADE OF REAL MEAT, people!). And we called upon two of our favorite Internet stars to share their opinions about the 2010 VMAs.

Alonzo Lerone, known for his pop culture-parodying YouTube videos, and Dannielle Owens-Reid, filmmaker, blogger, and founder of Lesbians Who Look Like Justin Bieber, watched the VMAs and weighed in on their favorite moments and the funniest moments.

Watch Alonzo Lerone and Danielle Owens-Reid's favorite VMA moments--the surprises, the forgiveness, painful shoes, tiny dancers and all. Find out the moments you may have missed, like Justin Bieber's drumstick fail. See who Danielle wanted to spoon with and how she pulled off a bizarre anatomical feat that involved splitting her eyes in half. And don't miss Danielle and Alonzo's spirited debate over whether or not Kanye West is "supposed to be a douchebag."

Katy Perry may have spent the weekend out on the streets of Las Vegas, celebrating her upcoming nuptials and the end of her singledom at her Rihanna-planned bachelorette party. But today, video surfaced of Katy Perry hanging out on a much more child-friendly street, as the singer appeared on the long-running kids show "Sesame Street."

Katy Perry performed and acted out a parody of her hit "Hot 'N Cold" with everybody's favorite tickle addict, Elmo. In the sketch, Katy wants to play with Elmo, but Elmo runs away, which leads Katy Perry to chase after him, à la the "Hot 'N Cold" video.

Somewhat odd, hearing the song's lovelorn lyrics applied to chasing after a Muppet. But kudos to Katy for really investing herself in the appearance. Check out the wide array of facial expressions.

Taylor Momsen and her band, The Pretty Reckless, have released a video for their song "Make Me Wanna Die." It's really normal, and nothing out of the ordinary happens: That's what I would say if this were a video by Boring McBoring and the Dullards!!!

In reality, The Pretty Reckless' "Make Me Wanna Die" video sees this teenaged enfant terrible wearing enough eye makeup to scare senior citizens and, basically, stripping, winding up in her underwear, on fire, in a graveyard.

Couple of funny things about this one (because if we can't laugh then we can't do much else). LOL at Taylor Momsen's flannel shirt. I know she gets grief for biting grunge style, but there was something cute about how authentically '90s and Seattle-y tattered it was. Also? Dying at Taylor handing the (homeless?) child her rosary! Like, who does that? Do nuns even do that? How about a hot meal or five bucks? No? OK, well, by all means I'll take the rosary!

I joke because I love, folks. This is actually a pretty rip-roaring tune, and despite the fact that Taylor Momsen makes headlines for the controversial things she does or says, she has an an incredible voice and aesthetic.
