It's going to be hard for VersaEmerge to top their Halloween costumes from last year. The Florida rockers dressed up as Paramore during their Halloween 2009 show and threw everyone for a loop.

This year, the "Fixed at Zero" band is still touring but has the day off, and their costume concepts are all set. Together, VersaEmerge's costumes sound like a setup for one of those cheesy jokes my uncle tells me at every holiday: "A Na'vi, a fox, and a guy from Anchorman walk into a bar..."

So they won't match, big deal. What's important here is that VersaEmerge is doing what every smart kid should do on Halloween--get to the richest neighborhood you can find and trick-or-treat your face off. Full candy bars! Jackpot!

Here's Canadian alt-metal outfit Finger Eleven's new video, "Living in a Dream," off its sixth studio album, Life Turns Electric. There's been a three-year gap in Finger Eleven album activity, as its last album, Them vs. Me vs. You, was released in 2007. So "Living in a Dream" is a welcome video comeback.

The video starts out innocently enough, as we watch Finger Eleven do its rock thing under blue lights on a dark soundstage. But we soon discover that some kind of dreamy love triangle is taking place involving a mysterious blond sporting blue Ke$ha lips and a mysterious brunette wearing black flowers and blue eye shadow. (So much blue! What does it all mean!?)

Lead singer Scott Anderson starts seeing double after getting pummeled by the brunette brandishing a wine bottle. Soon there's two of everybody, and it starts raining shards of light bulbs and/or confetti and/or just regular rain. It's open for interpretation. All we know is another rock star is in trouble with the ladies. Eek. Sounds like a bad dream if you ask me.

How could they DO this to Justin Bieber? And by "they," we mean Portuguese teen mag "Todateen Star." On their latest cover, featured on Celebuzz, they plastered a fiercely feminine version of Justin Bieber looking more like an American Girl doll than like himself.

Spokespeople at "Todateen Star" denied that they used Photoshop to "wind back the clock" of Bieber's facial gifts to the world. "We could not help noticing your comments and tweet from the picture of Justin on the cover of "Todateen Star," the magazine posted on their website (thanks to the The Huffington Post's translation), "We would like to say that there was no change made in the area of the singer's eyes. We had a technical problem that darkens certain areas of the photo." Maybe like his lips? And eyes? He practically looks like Taylor Momsen!

The magazine added, "We also want to say that all of us find Justin very naturally beautiful. We'd never think it's necessary to alter pictures of him. Natural beauty says it all, right?"

Using Photoshop to make someone into a zombie is one thing. But painting Justin Bieber's face as though he were entering a beauty pageant is another.

It seems this week is all about a tale of two Taylors! Yesterday, we discussed that Taylor Swift was reportedly dating Hollywood hunk Jake Gyllenhaal. And for today, it's Gossip Girl star and The Pretty Reckless singer/ songwriter Taylor Momsen, who appeared to be celebrating Halloween almost a week early at the Tokidoki x Onitsuka Tiger Sneaker Collection launch. The event took place at The Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles last night with a feature performance by The Pretty Reckless and DJ set by Taryn Manning.

Eyeliner enthusiast Taylor Momsen decided it was appropriate to wow the crowd with visible underthings, what looks to be a Spiderwoman-esque fishnet-esque body stocking over top of said underthings, red smokey eye makeup and her standard vampy lip. Because Taylor Momsen hates pants, she's of course not wearing them. Her platinum blonde hair is Rapunzel-long as usual (and looks a lot like Lady Gaga's long blonde hair), but she's decorated it festively with some retro Christina Aguilera bright red streaks. Maybe in time for Christmas?

We want to believe this Tokidoki x Onitsuka Tiger Sneaker Collection launch was indeed a costume-only event. But Taylor Momsen's commitment to ghoulish makeup and costumes the other 364 days of the year as well make us think otherwise.

Given the wide variety of Halloween costume options available for young girls this year (Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Hannah Montana, Antoine "Dogson"), you would think that reigning hair whipping queen Willow Smith would have huge wardrobe plans this Oct. 31, especially considering it also happens to be her 10th birthday (two full hands!).

Personally, I was hoping for some crazy outfit based around that awesome heart-shaped weave in her "Whip My Hair" video.  Or I could totally see her as a really cute version of a sober Snooki. But instead, when we asked Willow Smith what she wants to be for Halloween, she told us dressing up as...Willow Smith?

The mini Smith says that she's going to dress as herself this Halloween and when she goes trick-or-treating she's going to ask people if they like Willow Smith. When they say "yes," she'll say, "Surprise, it's me!"

Point is, if you see a little girl who looks like Willow Smith trick-or-treating and yelling "Surprise, it's me," then that's probably Willow Smith. Dressed as herself.

Taylor Swift has come far from the days of Taylor + Taylor (Lautner, obviously) and Joe Jonas. Lately, the 20-year-old country-pop phenom just LOVES to kick it with an older dude! And it's speculated that Taylor Swift's moved on from notorious serial dater/chronic TMI-er John Mayer. It's been reported that Taylor "Fearless"-ly called John Mayer out on his "dark and twisted games" on her new song, "Dear John." And to prove that John Mayer is SO earlier-this-year, Taylor Swift has been seen spending time with steamy Jake Gyllenhaal, who's 9 years older than her. If the rumors are true, we think this liaison is an upgrade worthy of a PARADE. Prince of Persia's Jake Gyllenhaal is mind-bogglingly beautiful.

Multiple sources spotted Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal out in New York City, and Taylor even brought him to the Saturday Night Live set where her bestie Emma Stone was hosting last weekend. The pair were also reportedly seen walking around Brooklyn together, and they just went apple-picking together. Maybe Taylor's over rock stars as potential suitors and has returned to Hollywood for boyfriend fodder?

Did you guys know that zombies are the new vampires? It's true. Well, at least at the moment. Maybe it's because Halloween's almost here, and because we're psyched for that zombie show on AMC, or because we've been listening to a lot of Fela Kuti (it happens), but we're way into zombies taking the place of the Cullens.

Sci-fi aficionados will be sure to tell you that zombies and vampires are apples and oranges, but I have to say I'm definitely pro-zombies. There's something a little extra cool about eating brains instead of blood. Also, you don't have to wear a cape, and you can eat all the garlic you want!

Above we have (an obviously doctored photo of ) Ke$ha as a zombie (or would it be zombi€?).  Even though she's missing half of a pinky finger, sporting whited-out eyes, and wearing lipstick made of blood, for some reason none of this looks out of place. Ke$ha might actually be a zombie.  Maybe naming her new album Cannibal is just the tip of the iceberg.

Lady Gaga's meat dress at the 2010 VMAs seems to make a lot more sense now. Her filet headpiece and hanger steak purse were simply a mid-evening snack. Every zombie needs sustenance to maintain their healthy puke-colored complexion, duh. And what do you think inspired her lyrics for "Bad Romance?" "Rah rah, ah ah ah" is moaned on the regular at Gaga's monthly zombie bridge games.

Oh, no! They got my little Justin Bieber, too! How are we supposed to see the "U Smile" singer's famously sly grin behind all that gross blood and guts? Even though they might have eaten his brain, it was pretty nice of the zombies to let Biebz keep the hair, don't you think? Blood is the new black!

Thirteen-year-old Greyson Chance just premiered his new song, "Waiting Outside The Lines," on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Justin Bieber-esque (from a hairspiration and medium of the genesis of his stardom standpoint!) Greyson is signed to Ellen's new record label eleveneleven. That Ellen is quite the renaissance woman, right? We wonder who else is on her radar.

Greyson Chance initially regaled YouTubers with his rendition of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi," which garnered over 32 MILLION views. Also, get psyched: His new single "Waiting Outside The Lines" is available on iTunes today. Greyson showcases his amazing voice in the piano-driven pop track. Could he veer into rap territory next à la Bieb? Who can ever know?

Here's what Greyson has to say about the debut of "Waiting Outside The Lines": "I'm so excited for everyone to hear my first single. This song comes from the heart, and I hope and pray that my fans can use it to 'escape' from all of the pressures of life. I can't wait for everyone to take this journey with me."
