Didn't you JUST casually turn to your BFF and say, "I'll just PERISH if Katy Perry doesn't create a theme outfit not so subtly recalling a vision of the love child of Liberace, and a peacock?" Because we did. And as luck would have it, Katy's made our sartorial dreams for her a reality with one of the dresses she wore to the 2010 MTV EMAs in Madrid!
Katy Perry wore a dress that looked like green sequins and green feathers had a fight with chiffon, and they called a truce and let everyone go home happy. Coincidentally (or not), Katy's green dress is by Indian designers Falguni and Shane Peacock. Who made a peacock dress. Which references Katy Perry's new song "Peacock."
That's a lot of look, no? That said, if anyone could pull off such a sparkly situation, it's the "California Gurl."
What do you guys think about Katy Perry's over-the-top peacock dress? Adorable or horrible? Tell us in the comments!
