Seriously, dudes? I mean Godspeed to any grown men who want to revive the decadence and debauchery of '80s hair metal. That seems to be My Darkest Days' M.O. And you know what? You only live once. But for the love of all that is holy, did you have to give your single the MOST UN-GOOGLEABLE NAME EVER.
The NSFWG (Not Safe For Work Googling) title "Porn Star Dancing" might explain why it's taken a little while to catch on. Now this Canadian hard rock band's homage to girls on film is making a lot of chart noise.
My Darkest Days was "discovered" by Nickleback's Chad Kroeger, who signed them to his 604 imprint. So strong was the appeal of "Porn Star Dancing" that the band were able to rope in not only Kroeger, but former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde, as well the mouth of the South, Ludacris.
Luda, Wylde, Kroeger and a bunch of scantily clad ladies appear in the video for "Porn Star Dancing." Bravo to these dudes for picking either the best or the worst song title of all time. We still haven't decided.
