When she first kicked down pop music's bathroom stall door, there was something charmingly DIY about Ke$ha. Her videos had a sort of playful, amateurish vibe to them, and her unique sense of garbage-pail-kid style was charmingly haphazard.
Funny how a couple of No. 1 hit singles can change things. Now one of the most prominent pop stars working today, Ke$ha went out and got herself a big, glitzy, glossy, explosive new video. I guess she wasn't kidding when she said she woke up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy.
"We R Who We R," the lead single from Ke$ha's Cannibal release, is like a lot of Ke$ha videos, just much better looking and professionally rendered. We got ourselves a rave in the middle of a tunnel, some explosions and some "Fast And The Furious" racing going on.
Ke$ha, for her part, still dresses like all of the characters from "Wizard of Oz," all at once. But now her look is more weird fashionista rather than Dumpster diver.
What do you think of the new, possibly improved Ke$ha? Let us know in the comments!
