No British MC in recent memory, not since Dizzee Rascal, at least, has seemed so primed for U.S. success as Nigerian-born rapper Tinie Tempah.

The reason? It has to do with his mixture of the skitter, scattershot rhythms of UK Grime and Dubstep, with the more traditional sounds of American hip-hop and R&B.

After breaking out with the 2006 hit "Wifey," Tinie Tempah has been building a reputation as a microphone master, dropping singles left and right and electrifying European club audiences.

But it's with his newish single "Pass Out" that Tinie may have hit the big time with a thunderous beat that touches slightly upon J-Kwon's classic single "Tipsy" and some squiggling, bewildering keyboards on top (for that Grime appeal). It'll keep dancers moving in clubs from Atlanta to London and all points in between.

Check out Tinie Tempah's video for "Pass Out" and get to know the man in his own words with an exclusive Buzzworthy interview, both below.

Happy holidays, y'all! We'll be back on Monday after we play a little holiday game of consumption that we like to call "See How Fast We Can Make Our Pants Not Fit." And pretend we're not disappointed to find an orange in our stocking. (It's like... seriously? An ORANGE? An orange and an iPod are not the same thing, are they?)

On Gaga! On Katy! On Nicki and Biebs! Merry Biebsmas to all, and to all a Biebs night!

Because she's worth it, Rihanna went shopping for the No. 1 person on her Christmas list the other night: herself. Here we see the "What's My Name?" singer at the New York department store Barneys, as she asks if the salesperson has that particular shoe in a size "fierce."

Kind of amazing how Rihanna can just roll up on one of New York's most fab clothing outlets and just be like, "Pink hat, ponytail, no problem."

Though it seemed like she was more or less shopping for herself (alas, we were not eyewitnesses to the shopping spree), Rihanna did find herself in the giving mood, signing autographs for fans who approached her.

Rihanna has been in New York all week, working on being Rihanna and also shooting Kanye West's highly anticipated "All Of The Lights" video.

We found something very surprising when we first listened to Ashlyne Huff's version of Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas"--we loved it! Attempting to remake a holiday classic is one thing, but pulling it off is entirely another. Many props to Ashlyne for getting it right!

Honor Society tourmate Ashlyne Huff teamed up with the Salvation Army to record her version of "All I Want For Christmas" to help promote the organization's Red Kettle Campaign, which helps raise money for those in need. The video is made up of vignettes of Ashlyne spreading holiday cheer--reading books to children, helping kids out with their homework, and lending a helping hand at a soup kitchen. When she's not volunteering, we see cutie Ashlyne bundled up in her adorbz winter gear, singing her heart out in the middle of a winter wonderland.

Ashlyne's video for "All I Want For Christmas" is exactly what the holidays should be about, people! Giving back, lots of snow, and fantastic leopard-print scarfs (obviously).

Looking like he just walked off the set of the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" video Justin Bieber had a pretty hairy night, last night. Here we see the "Baby" singer looking decidedly un-baby-like in a Twitpic, taken along side his "swagger coach," Ryan Good.

The two were 'stache swaggin', or, in the parlance of Twitter hashtags, "#stacheswaggin." Stache swaggin' apparently constitutes mussing up the most perfect Bieber bowl cut of all time, applying a fake mustache and then giving your best grizzled police detective look to the camera.

The trending topic last night prompted plenty of response from Bieber's millions of Twitter minions, some of whom posed with 'staches themselves and some of whom simply went to work on Photoshopping swagging 'staches on animated cartoon characters like Sponge Bob Square Pants.

It was a night that will live in swag and 'stache infamy.

+ Lady Gaga has been pulling out all the stops, fashion-wise, during her stay in Paris this week. First she appeared, looking rather royal outside of her hotel. Then, yesterday, she was photographed wearing nothing but fishnets out on the Parisian streets. (Idolator)

+ Two men were arrested yesterday for breaking into 50 Cent's Connecticut mansion. One of the intruders was nabbed hiding in one of 50's (no doubt) spacious closets, drinking wine. (MTV News)

For the last couple of years, the members of Warpaint have been enchanting listeners with their new spin on '50s Girl Group romanticism, which comes doused in '80s-style, noise-pop atmosphere.

Formed in 2004, the Los Angeles-based band is made up of Emily Kokal (vocals/guitar), Theresa Wayman (vocals/guitar), Jenny Lee Lindberg (bassist/vocals), and Stella Mozgawa (drums/keyboards). Other members have drifted in and out as well, including indie-darling actress Shannyn Sossamon (who left to pursue acting). Yet the lineup recently solidified with the addition of drummer Stella Mozgawa.

On Warpaint's 2010 debut album, The Fool, the band drapes their minimal rock sound in ambient noise, creating a beguiling soundscape. It's a sound that's caught the ear of both rock critics and fellow artists. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers' John Frusciante is an avowed fan and even helped master some early recordings of the band.

Check out Warpaint's "Undertow" video, below. The Fool is out now.

Originally from Denmark, New Politics, a trio made up of David Boyd, Poul Amaliel and Søren H, formed in the latter part of the 2000s. The group then took their talents to the teeming and vibrant musical epicenter that is Brooklyn, N.Y.

On the surface, a band that features a vocalist, guitarist and drummer might sound like a primal scream waiting to happen, and with Scandinavian rock roots (think The Hives, Refused), New Politics certainly has some garage punk pedigree.

However, on their debut, self-titled album, New Politics gets downright expansive, recalling the crunch of Nirvana, the atmospheric strangeness of The Pixies and a bit of the glam excitement of latter-day My Chemical Romance.

Their debut runs the gamut between lovesick pop songs ("Give Me Hope") and flammable, unhinged rock anthems ("Burn It Down"). How do three guys make such a racket, live? Well you should definitely take the time to find out. New Politics has a reputation of making stages uninhabitable for other bands once they're done.

Check out New Politics' video for "Yeah Yeah Yeah," as well as a live performance of their track "Diginity," both below. New Politics is out now.

What's that, you ask? Why, it's the sound of mall-haired hearts breaking all over the world continental United States! After 16 (16!!) years of an on-again/off-again relationship with girlfriend Kristi Gibson, Bret Michaels finally asked for her hand in marriage.

"If you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it...16 years later after two children," doesn't really have quite the same ring to it. (Get it? Ring!) But regardless, congratulations to Bret and Kristi! Bret proposed to Kristi on the Monday night finale of his VH1 reality show "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It." Bret followed tradition and got down on one knee, but after he ended his speech he added, "Please say yes, or the rejection will kill me right now." No pressure, Kristi. (Spoiler alert: She said yes.)

You know what they say--sometimes you just need to front the rock band Poison, travel around the world, have two children, become the subject of a three-part reality television series profiling your quest for love on a tour bus and survive a life-threatening brain hemorrhage before you realize the one has been right there all along. We just love a good, old-fashioned love story.

We recently saw a little preview of the video for Kanye West's "Monster," featuring Rick Ross, Jay-Z, and Nicki Minaj, and we were all like "OMGWTF." Today, Rihanna tweeted a picture of herself on the set of Kanye's "All Of The Lights" video with director Hype Williams and it has us all "OMFG!!!" Cannot. Wait. For. This. Video.

If you'll recall, Kanye West's "All Of The Lights," from his latest album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, features pretty much every person on the planet --Rihanna, Alicia Keys, John Legend, The-Dream, Fergie, Kid Cudi, Elton John (on piano), Ryan Leslie, Charlie Wilson, Tony Williams and La Roux singer Elly Jackson. And seeing as though the video is being directed by Hype Williams, who's directed pretty much every hip-hop video on the planet, the expectations for this video are set really high. Like, Christmas-morning-when-you're-six-years-old high.

Rihanna tweeted with the picture, "Turn up the lights in here baby, EXTRA BRIGHT b----es!!!" Is that a little secret letting us in on what the video might entail? We can't really get a good look at the set or, more importantly, Rihanna's outfit for the video, but we're going to guess it might have something to do with...lights!! I know, we're smart like that.
