I know, we're so Saturday night on a Tuesday afternoon, but it took us some time to wrap our brains around the Google-minded genius of The Lonely Island (the guys behind "Saturday Night Live"'s digital shorts) and Akon's latest digital short "I Just Had Sex." Well, let's be real with each other: First we had to come to grips with the fact that our mega-crush Andy Samberg was ACTUALLY saying the word "sex" on TV. We'd simply been subconsciously hearing it come out of his mouth every time he says, you know, anything. Like "the."

THEN we stumbled upon this blog post discussing the SEO (that's search engine optimization, BT dubs) GOLD that is a music video featuring patented hotties Blake Lively and Jessica Alba with the word "sex" in the title. What "Maxim" man HASN'T done a little "research" on the topic?

The video itself is full of subtly hilarious gems that manifest as you watch it multiple times. For starters, a be-tube-socked Blake Lively and Jessica Alba, with a side pony (hilarious in and of itself!) respectively, looking totally disgusted. Andy Samberg emerging from the ladies' room inexplicably, saying, "Oh hey, didn't see you there, guess what I just did? Had sex..." Jorma Taccone making a postcoital phone call to his parents from Jessica Alba's landline. The fact that Andy Samberg felt the need to specify that he did it with his penis. Last, we heart the part when the guys ponder over pedis about why their female counterparts even wanted them to do it (doesn't really make sense?).

And Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, Akiva Schaffer--if you guys ever need some SEO guidance from a seasoned gal of the Interwebs--you know, don't be strangers, OK? Pretty sure we'll all never go back to our "not-having-sex ways of the past."

Watch "I Just Had Sex" (again) and tell us what you think!

While it's hard to match Los Angeles' Staples Center, home of the Lakers, for star power in the seats, Madison Square Garden, home of the New York Knicks, runs a close second. And with an improved team on display this year, the wattage of said stars has been getting brighter and brighter.

Take last Friday night's game, when the Knicks took on LeBron James and the Miami Heat. And the stars came out in force to see the action. Above, we see Drake and a rather undercover looking Maxwell, taking in the action.

Note the dudes next to Drake and Maxwell, subtly on their smartphones, no doubt texting their friends, "LOL at Nix gm w/Drizzy." Cool, calm, collected.

Then we have Joe Jonas:

That's the face of a dude who is about to tweet, for all the world to see: "LOL OMG @drakkarnoir at Nix Game!!!!!! #shaking #crying." Be cool, Joe! You have sold more records than that cat! No need to freak out.

That's more like it, my man. Celebrities, they freak out when they see rappers in public, just like us.

Middle Class Rut are a Sacramento, Calif., duo who make an almighty racket, calling to mind the glory days of Rage Against The Machine, Deftones and At The Drive-In--propulsive, hard-hitting rock that's thoughtful and comes packed full of surprises. They're one of MTV's Artists To Watch In 2011, and here's why.

Made up of guitarist/vocalist Zack Lopez and vocalist/drummer Sean Stockham, Middle Class Rut have been plugging away since 2006, accruing a dedicated fan base through their explosive and energetic live show. In October 2010, the band released its debut album, No Name No Color, an accomplished full-length full of Led Zeppelin-like dirges ("I Guess You Could Say") and sociopolitically charged anthems ("USA").

The highlight of Middle Class Rut's album is, undoubtedly, the single "New Low," a taut and tense slab of atmospheric rock that comes with an incredibly inventive video, to boot.

Watch Middle Class Rut's video for "New Low," below. No Name No Color is out now.

Miguel's already landed on MTV's Artists To Watch In 2011 list, and he very could very well dominate R&B in 2011. The Los Angeles singer combines the best elements of neo-soul (think artists like D'Angelo, Maxwell and Musiq) and radio-friendly R&B club jams (think Usher's more restrained moments).

Miguel's hit single, "All I Want Is You" features one of the most memorable bass lines in recent memory and has become a calling card song for the young performer. His debut album has been a long time in the making, but if it's anywhere near as carefully constructed and lovingly arranged as "All I Want...," then we're looking at a real powerhouse who's set to rise to the top and stay there.

Below, you'll get a video introduction to Miguel. We start with a fun Q&A, where he talks about his album, his love life, the making of "All I Want Is You," and the influence of Queen and Freddie Mercury on his music.

Check out Buzzworthy's interview with Miguel, then enjoy his video for "All I Want Is You." And while you're on this Miguel kick, be sure to check out his exclusive MTV photo gallery. Miguel's debut album, All I Want Is You, is due out next year.

Hey, ya'll! Welcome back to your weekly internet road map. Buckle up, 'cause we've got 10 stops to make before Christmas.

1.) Leighton Meester is the latest actress to get her twang on for the upcoming drama "Country Song," following in the still-fresh bootprints of Gwyneth Paltrow. We have no choice but to pit them against each other and choose a winner. I vote Leigh all the way. Click the links below to see performances by each and then weigh in with your pick in the comments. (Idolator, Just Jared)

2.) Not sick of year-end lists yet? Me neither. Here's a good one: Spinner has crowned Swedish pop pixie Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" the top pop song of 2010. I like this list because they managed to find room for Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" at a very respectable No. 7. (Spinner)

3.) Despite recent evidence to the contrary, the annual Kardashian Christmas card wasn't always so kreepy! Kim shared a gallery of the family's seasons greetings from years past, featuring some adorably old fashions and um, equally adorable old noses. (Celebuzz)

4.) Oh, Demi, Demi, Demi Lovato. Girl, if you MUST lick your girlfriend's face while your cleavage is all busting out, don't take a picture. It will end up on the Internet. I know you probably didn't go to college yet, but c'mon, that's Being A Celebrity 101. Also though, we still adore you. (TheFABlife)

5.) On to more lighthearted things, this is what I want for Christmas--a beatboxing hamster. (No acorns were harmed during the filming of this LOLZ. Maybe a berry, though.) (YouTube)

6.) Before she was all underpants-sexytime on the November issue of GQ, "Glee" star Lea Michele used to be just a normal high school student, you guys! Except that she was still a really, really, like exceptionally good singer, and I probably would've hated her for it. (The Seven)

7.) Hey, I think I figured out what happened to the "Pants on the Ground" guy from "American Idol" Season 9: He invented these garter belts for guys--you know, the accessory that helps you keep your jeans at the precise height between your waist and knees. (NewsLite)

8.) Did you know that the 1990 family holiday movie "Home Alone" proves that Elvis is still alive? Well, still alive in 1990. Anyway, GAME CHANGER! Buzzfeed has 11 other mind-blowing factoids you didn't know about the film. (Buzzfeed)

9.) Last week at Madison Square Garden, a fan who was trying to be all sexy on Usher--after he'd pulled her on stage for a romantic serenade--did the most unsexy thing ever: She kicked him in the face. Lap dance EPIC FAIL. (RyanSeacrest.com)

10.) Presented without comment: The Lonely Island, featuring Akon (and Blake Lively and Jessica Alba), "I Just Had Sex" (Hulu)

Katy Perry isn't exactly what you would call a "T-shirt and jeans" kinda girl. Over the course of her career, the "Firework" singer has taken us on a latex/rubber/candy-coated costume roller coaster--she's shot whipped cream out of her bra, almost single-handedly made pinup girl hair cool again and reminded us all of the miracles red lipstick can perform. RUN AND TELL DAT.

In fact, if there was a regional competition that required crazy costumes and a whole lotta sass (something besides cheerleading), I would want Katy Perry on my team. In fact, I'd want her as captain. We'd go to nationals! We'd place in the top three! I can see it now!

Take a look at some of Katy Perry's costumes over the years and how her tastes and styles have changed, all while somehow remaining as adorable as possible. Must be tough!

At the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards, Katy flirted with her masculine side for this festive halvsies costume. Half tuxedo, half prom dress, but all mustache? Not sure if we exactly follow this one...

No Technicolors? No strategically placed edible items? In Katy's "Thinking Of You" video, shot in 2008, we see her in an all-black 1940s ensemble for a funeral scene. Bummer that your video boyfriend died, Katy, but with that drool-worthy lace parasol, how could you ever be sad?!

At the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards, we saw the "Teenage Dream" singer in a ball gown-meets-chainsaw accident. Kind of like a mullet--party on the top, horrible close call on the bottom?

And, of course, leave it to Katy Perry to turn an overweight man made out of snow into a totally cute performance outfit. At the 2010 KIIS FM Jingle Ball, Katy dressed as Frosty The Snowman but still managed to melt all the Popsicles in the crowd.

Earlier today we discussed Lady Gaga's adventures in Paris, including her Don't Ask Don't Tell Twitpic self-portrait where she looked, well, normal. Thankfully, for you, me and the paparazzi photographers of the world, that all changed today when Lady Gaga exited her hotel in Paris today.

I know the headline above mentions the Bride of Frankenstein as a template for this particular ensemble. But you know who she really reminds me of? Gary Oldman in "Dracula"--specifically the 500-year-old version of him.

What else is going on here? I'm seeing a bit of Natalie Portman in the not-so-good "Star Wars" prequels (shout-out to Princess Amidala!), some Steampunk. There's also an element of Marie Antoinette/disaffected royalty to this whole thing, as Gaga greets some rather adoring fans outside her rented residence.

Gaga is in Paris with her seemingly never-ending Monster's Ball tour. Gaga plays Paris tomorrow night, making up for a show that was canceled this weekend.

Demi Lovato is kind of having a rough end of 2010. Last month, the Disney star and teen pop sensation checked into rehab to deal with "physical and emotional issues," following an altercation with one of her dancers while on tour with the Jonas Brothers in South America.

Now, while Demi Lovato is still working out her issues in a private facility, the rumor mill is churning, making some things we're pretty sure she'd like to keep secret into matters of public record.

This weekend some rather racy photos of Demi Lovato gallivanting (to use a word that hasn't been used since the 1950s) with friends made it online. Then, following that, a rumor hit that a Demi Lovato sex tape existed.

Lovato's reps quickly moved to quash that rumor, calling the talk of a sex tape, "disgusting."

Here's hoping this is all smoke and no fire because Demi Lovato is basically a child, and she's a child with some personal issues and doesn't need this added to the likely long list of things she's dealing with.

Let's hope Demi has a better and brighter 2011. We're pulling for her.

Katy Perry's video for "Firework" isn't just about a bunch of sparks flying from people's chests à la the fembots in "Austin Powers." There is actually some meaning behind all those explosions. (Hear that, Michael Bay?) Katy spoke to MTV about what inspired the song and video, and how everyone can "ignite the light" within them.

The concept for the song "Firework" was simple: "I was thinking about how it takes just a little spark to make something as big as a firework," Katy says. But for the video, she took it up a notch--the "Teenage Dream" singer ran a contest looking for kids all over Europe who have their own spark, and did something out of the ordinary to overcome their difficulties. After reading all of the stories, Katy chose 250 kids to fly to Budapest and appear in the "Firework" video. Just one more reason why Katy Perry is certifiably the coolest.

But despite being known for her sense of humor and lighthearted nature, there's a bit of a different side to Katy Perry in this interview. She's warm and serious when talking about the kids that appeared the video, and it makes us feel all weird and fuzzy. Uh oh. Are we getting soft on you guys?! It must be the eggnog talking.

+ Watch the video below to see more behind-the-scenes footage of Katy Perry's "Firework" video.
