There's something kind of charming about watching celebrities react to or have fun with the Internet memes that have risen up out of their work. It's not something they can particularly control, so they might as well enjoy it. That's what Ryan Gosling did when MTV asked him to read some of the "Hey Girl..." posts from the awesome F*** Yeah, Ryan Gosling blog. And same goes for James Van Der Beek, who recently did a Funny or Die video about all the "Dawson's Creek" GIFs out there.
So it's pretty great to see Willow Smith giving her thoughts on some of the hundreds of tribute and parody videos that have sprouted up out of her "Whip My Hair" video.
In the PopEater video interview below, Willow watches and comments on several takes on "Whip My Hair," from video of her dad, Will Smith's "Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air"-inspired dancing synced up to her song, to a tropical bird's beak-whipping, to a soulful folksy take by singer-songwriter Katie Gavin, Willow Smith seems genuinely excited about all of the hair-whipping going on in her honor.
