A fabulosa-looking Nicki Minaj graces the cover of Spring 2011's fashion-forward V Magazine, and I believe this is what the Black Eyed Peas are referring to when they evoked the powers of the "Boom Boom Pow." Girl is on fire looking pretty, confident and powerful. Nicki! don't hurt 'em!
The "Right Thru Me" singer usually looks like some kind of candy store/space suit/barbed wire hybrid woman, but for the cover of V Magazine, Nicki's stylists left the colored wigs at home and let Nicki shine au naturel. Well, not exactly au naturel, but pink lipstick and a little eyeliner is probably about as close to barefaced as we'll ever see the Harajuku Barbie. And we have to say we're loving it--not every photo shoot calls for a leopard print bodysuit wrapped in pipe cleaners and a two-toned wig. (But thankfully many do.)
And how about that hair? The jury around the internet is still out but we're definitely feeling it. It's like The Supremes-era Diana Ross meets The Rachel ... but in a much cooler, Nicki Minaj-ier way than that sentence sounds.
