While she may have been born in Barbados, Rihanna was an American Girl (tip of the hat to Tom Petty) last night in Los Angeles. The recently single, ravishing redhead was spending a night at the Staples Center to watch Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat take on young superstar Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers </sports talk>.
At this point, every time I see Rihanna, I'm like this:

Whether she's wearing some outlandish, slapdash outfit that looks pilfered from the back of M.I.A.'s closet or some kind of severe militaristic ensemble like she was rocking during the Rated R days, she always looks good.
But above might be my favorite version of Rihanna: faded tee, smile on her face, kicking it at a basketball game. A gal after our own hearts, right?
Maybe she has a smile on her face because another wave of all-Rihanna everything is about to hit our shores. In the coming weeks and months, expect to see Rihanna in Kanye West's "All Of The Lights" video, Nicki Minaj's "Fly" video and, likely, a video of her own for her recent album Loud's third single, "S&M." Plus, she's launching her own perfume. More Rihanna? OK.
