Britney Spears spent her weekend surrounded by microphones. No, she wasn't giving a press conference; she was filming her new video for her single, "Hold It Against Me," directed by acclaimed music video auteur Jonas Åkerlund.
Yesterday, Britney tweeted out the above pic from the set. In the image, we see the blonde bombshell surrounded by microphones as she gives back an almost sinister stare.
The theme of media obsession and intrusion into privacy is nothing new for Åkerlund, who controversially explored the topic in Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" video.
Sounds like the collaboration between Spears and Åkerlund is going off like gangbusters, as Britney also tweeted this weekend, "Such an incredible experience. I think this will be one of the best videos I have ever done."
If this image is anything to go by, we're pretty excited to see the results. Though, to be honest, we'd be excited to watch a video of Britney Spears reading the phone book. When it comes to her, we're not too choosy.
