"S-S-S & M-M-M" tweeted Rihanna last night, along with the twitpic above. The photo, we assume (although you DO know what happens sometimes when you assume) is from her upcoming "S&M" video. In the photo, Rihanna's rocking a red heart eye patch, which imparts a very feminine pirate effect. Ahoy! SOS, please someone help Rihanna, maties. Though no one needs to save her from her Crayola eight-pack-hued mass of tight red curls à la Moulin Rouge.

We love that Rihanna's all nonchalant, very la-la-la, very, "oh, you caught me naughtily eating THREE scoops of Baskin Robbins" over her shoulder. Or perhaps the heart-shaped eye patch is Rihanna's very glamorous way of taking an eye exam? We envision her reading aloud "E, F, P, T, O, Z" before confirming that the left side is clearer than the right.

Rihanna also tweeted "oh yeah! I got some behind the scenes S&M flix for u #RihannaNavy I’ll give em to u little by little until the vid drops." We're into the sneak previews, Rihanna! Keep 'em coming.

+ Rihanna fans, what do you think of Rihanna's new curly red hair and "S&M" photo? Tell us in the comments!

If we know one thing in life to be true, it's this: Lady Gaga has a poker face. So when it was announced that music from Lady Gaga's Born This Way would be the soundtrack to the Thierry Mugler show at Paris fashion week, we knew something was up.

Didn't Gaga make a big deal about announcing the album's release date over Twitter? Wasn't that her New Year's Eve gift to all of us? Yes, and in truth, she's sticking to that promise.

Poker player that she is, Gaga, who tweeted that she was serving as "musical director" of the show, revealed a rather cagey version of her Born This Way tracks. In fact, we'd be willing to bet that what we hear in the Mugler video from the show bares little resemblance to the final versions.

However! It's still exciting to hear any new Gaga music. Over an insistent house beat, with swirling keyboards, we hear Gaga speak/sing in (we think) German and French. There's also some anthem-starting "oh oh's" that we can't wait to hear in a finished song.

If you're wondering about what the Mugler connection is, Lady Gaga's personal stylist Nicola Formichetti (aka the dude who came up with the "meat dress") is also the creative director for Thierry Mugler.

As we all know, the single, "Born This Way" will drop Feb. 13 and the album of the same name hits our world like the asteroid from Armageddon on May 23.

The success of "Glee" aside, a cappella singing is still kind of... well, dorky. Sorry! Dorky but adorable in the way a basket of basset hounds is both dorky and adorable. That said, former Fall Out Boy, Patrick Stump, may have finally made believers out of us with the below video.

This is an absolutely thrilling clip featuring a soul-punked Stump going all types of a cappella/one-man band on a breakneck revue of hits. Accompanied by loops of his own voice, Stump touches on Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' "Empire State Of Mind," Eminem and Rihanna's "Love The Way You Lie," B.o.B. and Bruno Mars' "Nothin' On You," Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" and Cee Lo's "F*** You" (the fully cursed out/non Gwyneth Paltrow version).

The results are check-plus-straight-A's-awesome. Don't get us wrong, the inherent dorkiness of singing a cappella is still there, but it's Stump total and complete embrace of said dorkiness (e.g. WHITE BOY BEATBOXING) that makes it something special.

Check out Patrick Stump's awesome a cappella video below. Warning: NSFW Language (thanks, Cee Lo!).

Burgeoning pop star Jessica Jarrell had the kind of 16th birthday party that would make the petite princesses of "My Super Sweet 16" cry into their silk, embroidered napkins. She might not have gotten a customized Lambo, but when Justin Bieber and Diggy Simmons show up at your throwdown, who needs sports cars?

Yep, Biebs and Diggy swung by Jarrell's soiree, held at the Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, California. Justin, who counts Jarrell as a former tour mate, might have been the biggest star in attendance and Diggy might have rocked the crowd with a performance, but Jarrell was really the star of the show.

Attendees snacked on cupcakes and roller-skated to their heart's content. The shindig was likely a nice break for the hard-working Jarrell; she's been touring consistently with Bieber as part of the My World 2.0 show and recording her debut album for Def Jam.

Matt And Kim: So nice, so fun, so friendly. Yo, you think you know, but you have no idea. Because you're about to watch these two beat the stuffing out of one another in the premiere of their new video,"Cameras," off their unmissable Sidewalks album. As anyone who has seen the Brooklyn duo's video for "Lessons Learned," these two don't mind pushing some buttons (or getting naked) in their videos. And with the Jonathan Del Gatto-directed "Cameras" video, they're pushing the envelope once again.

Most people probably imagine Matt And Kim in a perpetual state of blissful unity, whether destroying the stage during their live shows, touring or cohabitating. But the "Cameras" video makes it clear that that is not the case in an outrageously dark and funny way.

After one of Kim's cymbal stands inadvertently hits Matt during rehearsal, an all-out brawl breaks out, with the combatants throwing instruments and punches at one another. It's when the fight spills over into the practice space next door when things get really interesting.

Check out the premiere of Matt And Kim's "Cameras" video below, and check out Matt & Kim MTV PUSH Artist of the Week performances and videos.

If we are charting Adam Lambert's style against that of The Doors singer Jim Morrison's, then it would seem Lambert has definitely reached the sitting-in-a-yurt-with-a-shaman-going-on-a-vision-quest phase.

That's the only explanation I can come up with for the look Adam was rocking at the premiere party for Season 3 of "RuPaul's Drag Race." Let's take stock here:

We're seeing a little bit of late-period Morrison, late-period Robert Smith, Trent Reznor, goth cowboy, a healthy dollop of "Mad Max" and even a little Ke$ha.

That leather poncho is really extra, dude. Respect for sporting that at an event attended by the likes of actress Vanessa Williams and various drag queens and divas. Whadda we want from you, Adam? Well, we kinda want an explanation, but we've still got your back. Even if it is covered in fringy leather.

We not only post this picture because it's pretty outrageous, but to mention that that tiny talent show Adam Lambert was on, you know the one, American something, is back for season 10, tonight on FOX at 8 p.m. ET.

On Friday, Jan. 21 Taylor Swift will be boarding a cruise ship packed with her fans and contest winners and performing an at-sea show live. And MTV Buzzworthy writer Nicole James embarked on the seven-day cruise to catch all the seafaring action. Here's her report.

Ahoy-hoy, people! Today marks our second day (almost) trapped at sea with Taylor Swift--she'll be on board Friday when this huge cruise ship I'm on docks in Mexico -- and things are getting pretty wacky. There's a new towel animal on my bed every day, I've been proposed to by a busboy (I politely declined, because I'm a professional), and I accidentally got trapped in some kind of mall parade:

That little kid stole my dance moves.

But enough about the boring stuff. Today is T-Day on the boat! All Taylor, all the time--Taylor Swift look-alike contests, Taylor Swift karaoke jam sessions, Taylor Swift name-that-tune games and Taylor Swift woodworking competitions. I'm kidding about that last one. But seriously, I will officially go on the record saying that Taylor Swift fans are a die-hard group. If these Taylor Swift fans fight people the same way they love Taylor Swift, I'm staying out of the way.

A guest's balcony letting their Taylor Swift flag fly. Literally.

I think I can safely assume that no other person on the planet has heard the name "Taylor Swift" more times in a 72-hour period than me. I actually had a dream last night that our waiter's name was Taylor Swift. I wish I was kidding. But maybe it has something to do with my bedspread?

Stay tuned to hear all about Taylor Swift's concert at sea this Friday. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a limbo contest to go crush.

Seems to be a minor trend going on these days of female R&B singers embracing elements of dance and electronic music in their sound. Not that this a particularly new phenomenon--from the disco days of Diana Ross to the electro-funk of Missy Elliott, the two genres have always mixed well. But there seems to be a real uptick in the stylistic cross-pollination these days. We've seen Kelly Rowland's recent foray into house music, Amerie's new techno sound, and now, Mya, embracing an '80s freestyle/electro-pop sound with her new single, "Fabulous Life."

"Fabulous Life" has been described in some circles as a J-Pop song. She released in Japan first, and she worked with acclaimed J-Pop producer Jeff Miyahara on the track. But to our ears, this jam is ready for the roller-skating rink. Whether it's in Tokyo or New York City, it's an addictive piece of dance pop stuffed with melodies.

Let's hope Mya continues in this dance-centric direction when her new album finally drops. The singer has recently been working with legendary dance producer Junior Sanchez on the album. We can't wait to hear the results.

+ Listen to Mya's "Fabulous Life."
