Lots of ish went down between Zac and Josh Farro and their old bandmates in Paramore when the Farros decided to part ways. But Paramore is moving forward, and so is Josh. He'll be playing guitar in his new band, Novel American, and he sat down with MTV News to talk about it.
After the fallout, ex-Paramore guitarist Josh Farro wasn't sure if he even wanted to be in a band again. But after he reconnected with old high school friends (now his new bandmates in Novel American), it sounds like he changed his mind. "I had some ideas that just didn't fit with Paramore, and I said, 'Guys, we can try these,' and they just loved them, and so that's really how it all started."
Those ideas he's talking about are a pretty new musical direction for Josh Farro. Novel American lists influences like Radiohead, Sigur Rós, and Explosions In The Sky, which definitely sounds like a combo we're interested to hear. (It also kinda sounds like a make-out playlist.)
