Well, this is pretty terrifying. It's Eminem's Super Bowl commercial for Lipton Brisk Iced Tea, which will find the rebel rapper rendered as a stop-motion-animated puppet.
This is the latest in a rich tradition of musicians turning into stop-motion puppets in advertisements. The ad is something of a nod to the iconic "California Raisins" commercial, which found dancing raisins singing Marvin Gaye's "I Heard It Through The Grape Vine."
So will Eminem's next single be "Love The Way You Lie (With An Iced Tea In Your Hand)"? Probably not. Hopefully not. But we do know one thing, a puppet of Eminem with its face removed is really quite disturbing. And even more unsettling? Just how accurate those eyes are! Yikes!
