Madonna, despite being, still, one of the most famous people on the planet, recently took time out of her undoubtedly busy schedule to hit up her son's gymnastics competition. Check her out. I mean, she didn't arrive in an egg. She didn't put on makeup. She just rocked a warm hat and brought along her alleged boyfriend, Brahim Zaibat -- which is great. It's good to see Brahim taking an interest in little Rocco's various gymnastic pursuits.

But!

Is kind of NAGL (not a good look!). I am the last person in the world to tell someone where and when are appropriate PDA times, but you gotta say Madonna could have picked a better time to express herself, as it were.

Little man Rocco was probably getting ready to vault or pommel horse or whatever, and his friend had to tell him, "Hey your mom is using that dude as an oxygen tank." Way to take a kid out of the zone!

Aw, we're just kidding. Madonna is probably the coolest soccer mom (or gymnastics mom) in the world. We should all be so lucky.

Ahhh! The anticipation is killing us! Two days ago we got a preview of Britney Spears' "I Wanna Go," which we played probably 50 times in a row. This time, we're hearing a 30-second snippet of "How I Roll," which has more of that Dubstep influence that "Hold It Against Me" taps into. Three songs in, and we're totally OMFG about Femme Fatale. There are just not enough GIFs in the world to explain our excitement.

Like last time, it was Dr. Luke, one of Britney Spears' producers, who let the cat out of the bag on Twitter. He tweeted, "something like that," along with a link to "How I Roll." Something like what? What do you mean, Dr. Luke? Is that code?! Is there more?!!?! WE NEED TO KNOW!!

"How I Roll" was produced by Bloodshy and Avant, the same production team behind Britney Spears' "Toxic" and "Piece Of Me," and you can hear a lot of that influence in the track -- tons of synth and a machine-gun-fire beat. Also, hand claps! Everyone knows hand claps are the best part of any song.

Paws up, Little Monsters! If you're black, white, Lebanese, gay, straight, ambiguous, ambidextrous, if you have two paws, three, or even real paws. Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" video will make its television premiere this Monday, Feb. 28, at 5/4c on MTV's "The Seven," We've still got a few days until the epic premiere of "Born This Way," which means there's still plenty of time to speculate wildly and fantasize about the birth of Gaga's next video.

Here's what we know. Choreographer Laurieanne Gibson has called the video "life-changing," telling fans they should expect "the highest level of execution in vocal music art and dance."

Here's what we think. It's going to be interesting to see Gaga working with a new creative team on this one. Directors like Jonas Åkerlund and Francis Lawrence, directors of "Telephone" and "Bad Romance," respectively, certainly had a hand in creating Lady Gaga, Video Icon. For her "Born This Way" video, the Haus of Gaga is working with Nick Knight, who shot the less flashy, more mysterious cover artwork for the "Born This Way" single.

Another thing to consider: Will elements of Gaga's Grammy performance -- from the womb/egg to the choreography to the uniform, yolk-y costumes -- show up in the videos? Often artists deploy similar tactics in their music videos and live shows, but we feel like the Haus Of Gaga is probably brimming with so many ideas it doesn't need to double up on any.

And even if the video doesn't feature a fleet of Gagas, "The Seven" will -- appropriately, the audience will be dressed in their best Gaga outfit, meat dress, hair dress or other Gaga accoutrement of their choosing.

After Hanson charmed us with a "Blues Brothers" homage in the group's video for "Thinkin' 'Bout Somethin'," the bros are back with their video for "Give A Little" off of their latest album Shout It Out. Yes, it's true that I've wanted to marry Taylor Hanson since 1997, but that doesn't change the fact that this video isn't still just objectively adorable. No bias, I swear.

"Give A Little" features the brothers Hanson playing their instruments in front of a simple white backdrop. The song starts off slow as they sing about wooing ladies (something that Hanson knows just a little bit about), while the video cuts to different couples getting their dance on. The momentum builds, and pretty soon there's paint being splattered everywhere, and everyone on the set is getting down. Like I said, adorable.

And we're totally digging the low-budget video thing. "Give A Little" is a snappy pop song with a to-the-point video that focuses on the catchiness of the track. No bells and whistles, just singing, dancing and Taylor Hanson wearing Ray-Bans. What else do you need in life? NOTHING...in my opinion.

So, last night Lady Gaga went to the Great White Way to take in a show. And she apparently opted to skip the possible bodily harm that could have come with watching the controversial staging of "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark" and instead took in the punk-rock-opera that is "American Idiot." And, whaddya know, who did she run into but Billie Joe Armstrong, Green Day's frontman and auteur of the "American Idiot" musical.

These two make quite a pair! You know, Gaga and Green Day have a lot more in common than you might think. They both make anthems for folks on the margins, mixing in theatricality to emphasize their personal-is-political themes. They both started in thriving scenes (Gaga in the Lower East Side, Green Day in the Bay Area), and they both have a fondness for eye makeup.

After taking in the show, Lady Gaga posed with the cast of "American Idiot" for photos. Check out a shot of her with the troupe, below. Let's hope there's a Gaga/Green Day collaboration in the works.

Hi everyone! I am so excited to count down this week's hottest cyber-happenings, so let's not waste any time...

1.) Remember last week when I told you about Radiohead's new video for "Lotus Flower," featuring the interpretive dance stylings of lead singer Thom Yorke? Well, the WWW definitely heard me -- and ran with it. (Gammasquad)
(But Thom, if you're out there reading this: You look delicious.)

2.) British chanteuse Adele, she of the magnificent pipes and killer fashion sense, pretty much blew David Letterman's mind during her performance of "Rolling In The Deep" on the Late Show Monday night. (Idolator)

3.) Some guy named Justin Bieber, who apparently is really famous for his hair or something (?), got a haircut and it made the world end. (BuzzFeed)

4.) Lady Gaga has an official release date of Feb. 28 for her "Born This Way" video. Time to place your bets on whether she keeps with the prophylactic-inspired sartorial choices. (Buzzworthy)

5.) The Oscars are this weekend! In case you missed any of the 10 films nominated for best picture -- or perhaps some other 40 other films released last year -- this video will tidily spoil each of the endings for you. (Urlesque)

6.) Timmy, who became Internet famous for his rousing rendition of Ke$ha's "Tik Tok," is back with an adorable performance of Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me," which would lead some to believe that he's Team Britney were it not for the LADY GAGA BRACELET he's wearing. (Mashable)

7.) You guys, Hipster Little Mermaid has been quietly assembling an army of Hipster Disney Princesses to remind the world that they are better than all of us. (Tumblr)

8.) Psychic Sylvia Brown says Michael Jackson is much healthier in the afterlife and Princess Di is really happy for William and Kate. Just an update. (PopEater)

9.) I'm not a gold digger or anything, but I mean, if you propose to your girlfriend in a mall food court, what did you really expect to happen? Gentleman, file this FAIL away for future reference. (Videogum)

10.) Proving once again that he is the world's most gracious loser, David Archuleta made a super poised and mature video blog about being dropped by his record label, Jive. (Perez Hilton)

Nicole Richie is really exceeding our beautification expectations of late. First, there was her epic, epic Marchesa wedding dress that was the stuff of dreams. Now, she's essentially pulling a 4.0 in her major of LOOKING EFFING PHENOMENAL on the March 2011 cover of Russian Harper's Bazaar.

There's something very Hitchcock heroine about the whole spread, and while that's certainly not a new aesthetic, we feel Nicole's "doing it and doing it and doing it well" in the sage words of a famous philosopher we know who goes by the name of L.L.

On the cover, Mrs. Joel Madden is giving us Grace Kelly gracefully, and that's no easy feat. Her crisp white suit makes us consider recommitting to our iron, instead of passively steaming everything by our bathroom shower. It gets better: Nicole's red lip and Marcel-waved blonde locks is a beauty concept of which we never grow tired. And the massively ornate golden earrings are EVERYTHING and more. But most of all? We love how her facial expression evokes a decidedly Sharon-Stone-Circa-The-Legs-Crossing-Moment-Of-"Basic-Instinct" effect.

In the interior photo spread, Nicole perches on a fabulously '50s Mary Kay mobile in varying pop art shades -- love the tangerine suit! -- amid palm trees, occasionally featuring comic book bubbles of English interjections. All that's missing in the background is the Beverly Hills Hotel and a "Grease" era beau Nicole would no doubt slap if he got too "handsy."

Yes, Justin Bieber has cut his hair. This is a momentous turning point in my life the lives of all tweens. But they must learn, just like the rest of us, that life will go on. But before we march forward, let us take a moment to remember the Biebs that was:

We wanted to get some fan reactions about Biebergate '11, so just as we did after Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" video premiered, we headed over to the epicenter of fan reactions, Oh No They Didn't, to get a few breaking reports live from the scene. There were several positive comments, from "A+++" to "Flawless!" to "HE IS A MAN NOW," and a few negative ones that we're too nice to repeat. But as the old adage goes, a GIF is worth a thousand words. Here are our favorites.

Most people were in shock:

We totally feel you, girl who's still in the running to become "America's Next Top Model." We can now see so much of Justin Bieber's forehead that we don't know what to do with ourselves. His eyebrows, too. We kind of feel like we're seeing him in his undies.

And some people were straight-up freaking out:

Deep breaths, deep breaths. You are bigger than this. Justin Bieber's new haircut is not the end of the world. It's only the end of his childhood.

But perhaps "Shocked Usher in the Rain" says it best:

Justin Bieber's all, "Hey, come into my trailer, Usher." And then Usher open's the door all, "JUSTIN, NO! WHAT DID YOU DO!" Even Usher can't take it, and he's composed of, like, raw manhood and protein powder. Let it burn, Ush.

Love it or hate it, the deed is done. The Justin Bieber 'do is no longer. Pour some out for those precious locks that are going to charity, and let us all close this chapter in the Justin Bieber saga.

Last night, Lady Gaga played the second show of two nights at New York City's Madison Square Garden. But, as you can see from the shot above, she made as much a scene outside the venue as she did inside on the arena's storied stage.

Gaga greeted fans in some frigid NYC conditions, made all the more frigid by the fact that the Lady was not wearing any pants. We know, by this point, that not wearing pants is not a big deal for Gaga. No pants? She was born that way, and she often will show up in public that way. But last night was kind of freezing!

Anything for her fans, right? According to reports, some Little Monsters were waiting at the Garden as early as 2 p.m. to get a glimpse at their Mama. It sounds like the show was worth the wait, though. Gaga tore through her hits, as HBO cameras rolled, filming her for an upcoming special. During the show, Gaga acknowledged the presence of another NYC musical legend, Liza Minnelli, and announced that she'd like Marisa Tomei to play her in a biopic.

Check out another photo of Gaga, leaving Madison Square Garden last night, below. And check after the jump to see Gaga in all her pants-less glory.
