Resistance is futile, earthlings. First she conquered our televisions, magazines and the Internet, and now she's coming for our iPods. That's right, the countdown to Kim Kardashian's music career is nearly at zero. Brace yourself.
On Sunday night, while you watch the madcap adventures of Kim and her sister in "Kim And Kourtney Take New York," you will get a chance to hear Kim Kardashian's first single, "Turn It Up."
Never one to subtly dip just a toe in the water, Kim Kardashian is certainly looking to make a splash in the music biz-nass. "Turn It Up" was produced by R&B kingmaker (and queen-maker), The-Dream and reportedly features Kanye West.
For her "Turn It Up" video, Kim went H.A.M., tapping legendary hip-hop music video director Hype Williams to handle the shoot. It was apparently Williams who suggested Kardashian pay homage to '70s icon Bo Derek with her braids.
