Have you guys heard? The '90s are toootally the new '80s. Gone are the nostalgic parties full of side ponytails and leg warmers. We're in a new decade, y'all, and it's about time we bring back Starter jackets, flannel and fanny packs. OK, maybe not the fanny packs, but definitely any and everything that was in "Clueless."
MTV2 is playing they're own part in bringing back the '90s with the return of MTV's famous alternative rock show "120 Minutes." That's right -- it's back (with new music, of course), and the original host Matt Pinfield is reprising his role as "walking musical encyclopedia." Seriously. How does he know everything ever?
"[120 Minutes] has been so influential in so many people's lives. Musicians, music fans, actors -- so many people have told me the show was pivotal and life-changing for them," Matt Pinfield said about the iconic show. MTV2 will be the home to the new "120 Minutes," airing monthly, and MTVHive is launching "120 Seconds," its online counterpart.
Stay tuned for more updates on "120 Minutes" and "120 Seconds." In the meantime, let's all take a walk down '90s lane with Nirvana's "Come As You Are (Live)." Luv u 4ever, Kurt.
