Nicki Minaj showed up Tuesday night as Vogue magazine's performer at the the Green Auction: A Bid To Save The Earth. The event was in partnership with Runway To Green, which is a fashion fund-raising organization that benefits environmental awareness. Nicki wore Alexander Wang and sported a Bride of Freak-enstein 'do (we made that up ourselves!) that was half blonde, half-Kelly green. It also felt like a half broccoli, half cauliflower creation.

Yes, the point of the event was to use fashion to spread awareness about our own Mother Earth, and how we can keep her clean and healthy. Nicki was obviously on board with the message, but we think she may have also been trying to send us a subliminal message: Eat your vegetables! One look at that wig, and suddenly we're ready to go on a juice cleanse.

See, Nicki's not only trying to save the planet, but she wants you to eat healthy, too. We'll do whatever you say, Miss Minaj!

Yesterday, you got a peek (meta, yo!) at the trailer for MTV's exclusive special, "Britney Spears: I Am The Femme Fatale." Now we've got our hands on the full-length trailer, which features both Will.i.am and DJ Pauly D, who produced a song on her album and opened for her in Las Vegas, respectively. Britney, whose new album, Femme Fatale, currently sits at No. 1 on iTunes, sits down with Sway to talk about her new music, the art of performing and turning (gasp!) 30!

We get a peek into Brit both onstage and off, including a visit into the recording studio, where she records "Big Fat Bass" with Will.i.am, who promises the pop star that he's made the bass "even bigger" (LOLOLOL). We also get a chance to go inside Starbucks with Britney. What I wouldn't give to go to a Starbucks with Britney. It'd be like having God give you a guided tour of heaven.

As part of MTV's Indie Music Month, we're premiering videos from some of the most exciting artists in the indie music scene. Today, we're featuring the exquisitely named Brooklyn MC and style torchbearer Theophilus London and his video for "Why Even Try," the second single from his Lovers Holiday debut EP.

With help from Tegan and Sara's Sara Quin on the hook, the rapper envisions a TMZ-styled channel with 24-hour paparazzi shadowing every move he and his girlfriend make. What starts out as manageable turns, as you could probably guess, ugly. Though if we had cameras in our face every minute, we'd probably start punching people too. We'd also be able to get away with rocking a fur coat and fedora like London, though, so it might be a fair trade. Anyway, sometimes a guy just wants to enjoy a sammie with his girl without having a cameraman telling him where to turn.

The hip-hop track pulls from early 1980s New Wave and glossy funk, but manages to remain completely forward-thinking and original. In addition to Quin, Lovers Holiday also features TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek, Solange Knowles and up-and-coming electro-pop singer Glasser. We're hoping Theophilus London really does get big enough to warrant TMZ coverage, mainly so we can get the accurate follow-up track. Get your cameras ready.

Lady Gaga sold out yet another Monster Ball, this time at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last night (where she also celebrated her 25th birthday with a surprise cake, delivered from an alien colony her dancers). Gaga was up to her usual theatrics, of course: wardrobe changes, playing a spiked key-tar and even sporting a fresh pair of oversize claws, which is likely a reference to the same "paws" she and her Little Monsters use as a hand gesture when showing their love/worship for each other.

On hand, too, was that ol' disco stick she's been singing about since her first album, The Fame. It's a sort of a magic wand that we imagine is used to magically get people off their arses and dancing. By the looks of it, even as Gaga goes for a look that incorporates flesh-toned latex, nipples covered by Band-Aids, and, of course, horns, she won't abandon her past, either. That disco stick is like Gaga's thing, you know? The thing she always has on her. Like how Linus always carried a blanket. Or The Duggars always carry around 1 trillion babies. Anyway, it's nice to see that as Gaga turns another year old, she still holds onto the things that matter. Like a giant light-up... disco stick.

Yesterday, we brought you Wiz Khalifa's electrifying performance of "Black and Yellow" at MTV's Spring Break 2011 in Las Vegas. We've got plenty more, though, as Snoop Dogg and Lupe Fiasco appeared in Sin City to rhyme poolside in front of thousands of fans.

You have to give it to Snoop Dogg for remaining at the top of his game nearly two decades into his career. With three booty short-clad ladies dancing in the background poolside at the Palms Resort & Casino, the jumpsuited rapper went into "Boom," the second single from his 11th album, Doggumentary. Unfortunately, there's no surprise appearance by T-Pain, the crooner on the single, but the up-tempo, synth-heavy track produced by Scott Storch is the perfect soundtrack to dancing in a bikini or cargo shorts. And, man. Which other 39-year-old man can get away with pigtails? Just had to add that.

Lupe Fiasco, whose new album, Lasers, debuted at No. 1 -- offers less booty and more music in his "Words I Never Said" performance. We're not sure how much the crowd cares about Lupe's lyrical concerns on the War on Terror and 9/11 conspiracy theories, but regardless, the MC still knows how to work a crowd, especially with his backing band transforming the track into a call-to-arms rap-rock song, followed by "I Don't Wanna Care Right Now."

Britney Spears celebrated the release of Femme Fatale with a "Good Morning America" performance that taped in San Francisco on Sunday and aired this morning. Gurl performed three songs off of Femme Fatale, which is her seventh studio album and has been receiving rave reviews by critics, bloggers and fans alike. I have to say my personal favorites are the upbeat "Seal It With A Kiss" and the electro-emotional "Trip To Your Heart."

I thought the "Good Morning America" performances were fun, and I really enjoyed the production and lighting. The lightning bolting across the screens behind her was the perfect backdrop to complement the props she used -- the electric chair in "Hold It Against Me" and the electric pole she used in the finale of "Till The World Ends." Britney always brings a theatrical element to her stage performances, and if this is any hint of what to expect on her upcoming tour, then it should be an electrifying show indeed!

Britney's dancing may not be on the same level that it was in 2003, but as long as she's having fun with what she's doing I'll be there to support her every step of the way. I am not a woman, I am not 29, nor do I know what it's like to have children... but there is no denying that as a mother of two, Britney looks phenomenal! (Those legs!)

My reaction to any haters on Britney Day is:

Thou shall not phase me.

Don't miss Britney's MTV "I Am The Femme Fatale" special Sunday, April 3, at 9 p.m. ET on MTV. Check out teasers of the documentary here, and keep on flipping your hair... "Till The World Ends."

Can you imagine terrifying prog-metal outfit Slipknot and adorbs teen heartthrob Justin Bieber on the same stage, no less in the same room? We can just picture it now: the masked terrifiers sitting behind The Biebs in a green room somewhere, Shawn Crahan (AKA cLWON) obnoxiously flicking Bieber's pretty little earlobe over and over, just waiting for the handsome, barely-legal crooner to finally turn around and be like, "Hey, knock it off, guys!" (But Justin would never turn around and give in. That's just not in the Swagger Handbook.)

OK, so they may not be teaming up for a collaboration anytime too soon, but a YouTube user decided it was high time to combine Slipknot's "Psychosocial" with Justin Bieber's "Baby" for a mashup that inexplicably works! Sure, it may leave Slipknot fans sick to their stomach to hear those deliciously melodic chords and Justin's dulcet tones. And it may scare off the Bieber fans who will involuntarily wince every time they hear the thrashing electric guitar or the lead singer's guttural screams, but, hey, mashups don't discriminate. Listen without prejudice.

Femme Fatale is out!!! Britney Spears performed on "Good Morning America"!! She tweeted Christina Aguilera! THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES!! And we're not the only ones who think so! Look how essited Britney looks!

We scoured the globe (and by that, we mean the internet) to find some epic Britney Spears fan reactions to her "Good Morning America" performances and album release. Just like we did for our "5 Hilarious Reactions To Britney Spears' 'Hold It Against Me,'" we headed over to funny GIF HQ, Oh No They Didn't. ONTD is a huuuuge fan community where people from all over the world chat for hours on end about all things pop culture. Basically, they're our brother from another mother.

Take a look at some of these reactions to Britney's "Good Morning America" performance, as well as some reactions to her Femme Fatale album, which dropped today. Prepare to ROFL.

1.) OK, first we have to show you this video from YouTube user "ohitsryan," who was at the "GMA" performance. It's a little loud and kind of hard to hear, but completely worth it for the subtitles alone: "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO," "I'M GONNA DIIIIIEEE!!!!!!!!" and "OH MY GOD!!!! OH MY GOD!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!"

2.) YouTube user "stephenkling" was on the brink of effin' losin' it when a local TV reporter at the "GMA" performance asked him, "Are you really such a big fan?" Check out the video for his sweet reaction. (We love you, stephenkling! Ain't no shame in almost crying on public television!)

3.) Twitter user "xoxoheck" made us LOL with a tweet that so many of us were thinking but just didn't say: "Alarm is set super early for the gym, but I'm probably just going to sit on the couch and watch Britney instead (+ donuts).

4.) And over on ONTD, the GIFs were flowing like champagne. User "khlassique" said of Femme Fatale, "I agree with this album. How I Roll/I Wanna Go/Drop Dead=perfection," followed by this incredible GIF, which we will cherish forever:

5.) ONTD user "hungthem00n" took their review of Femme Fatale up a notch, declaring, "BLESSING THE WORLD WITH ORIGINAL SOUNDING, FLAWLESS MUSIC THAT RESEMBLE NO ONE<3 SOMETHING ONLY GODNEY COULD ACHIEVE<3."

It was a low-key affair at La Cita Bar, a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles, where Lady Gaga spent the evening with 60 friends (um, that's a lot of friends, so good for her!) to celebrate her 25th birthday. Of course, she's Gaga, so she did wear a skintight black dress with a beehive hairdo, and even her own birthday party couldn't stop her from putting on an awesome show.

PopEater reports that Gaga covered songs by Madonna and Mötley Crüe before launching into her own hits, including her most recent smash, "Born This Way." But this is Gaga we're talking about, so, naturally, she continued with the Mexican theme of the restaurant by performing the song Mariachi-style, the perfect genre bend following her country-fried version that recently hit the webosphere.

We've already wished Gaga a happy birthday, but may we also suggest she, y'know, sit down for a second? Unyielding ambition is one thing, but turning your own birthday party into an awesome concert is another. We've got nothing but love for the girl, but can't she sneak in a birthday nap, just this once?
