"It's definitely something we haven't really done before," frontman Ryan Key says of the Chris Marrs Piliero-directed video. "The song is a little bit heavy... and I think we all wanted to make sure with the video we weren't taking ourselves too seriously and making it some emotional piece of a video."
In the lighthearted video, Key is seen pining for an ex-girlfriend and annoying those around him with his constant singing and thieving of milk shakes.
At one point, the singer jumps through the drive-through window where he works after spotting his ex. "I had to jump out of a drive-through window about 30 times," Key says. "It was really challenging. Those windows are small! The first time I did it, they were going to put all this padding down for me. I was like, 'Guys, it's like three feet. I got it.'"
As Key notes in the video below, Yellowcard's goal was simple: "If you don't laugh, then we failed completely."
