Once upon a time, Warren G -- with the late, great Nate Dogg -- was one half of the classic '90s rap jam, "Regulators." In a sign of the times, Warren G has now been spotted in a real commercial ("real" in this case meaning "somehow not a joke") for a "nutritional supplement" meant to help dudes who have trouble, er, "working their equipment." Seriously.
It's called Affirm XL, and Warren G (who dons a crown for the occasion) is surrounded by tight-lipped beauties in bikinis who help prove that commercials for "performance" pills will always be funny, as long as that "BOIIIIIING!" sound effect is put to use. The commercial, unsurprisingly, makes very little sense, and includes Warren G spitting the following rhyme: "Affirm XL is the place to be/I want you to call that number at the count of three." Who was the poet laureate behind that one?
We do have to admit, though, that it's a pretty ballsy (LOL) move to to agree to be the spokesperson for a male enhancement supplement. A rapper admitting that he has trouble with -- wait, THIS JUST IN: "I am the original Regulator; I don’t need nothing," Warren G confirmed to future girlfriends everywhere. Welp, never mind then.
