Kate Middleton? Never heard of her. Last night, the only prettiest girl in the world was Rihanna, who was honored at a gala in New York where she was recognized for her efforts in trying to help find bone marrow donors for leukemia patients. While she once considered herself a "good girl [who had] gone bad," we're pretty sure that, if this event is any indication, Rihanna's a pretty good girl after all. But we wouldn't be doing our job right if we somehow forgot to point out how effing good she looked.
You don't see Grecian updos too often, unless you're constantly chaperoning proms (in which case, what are you doing?). But, yep, RiRi went classic for the event, wearing an elegant black gown and styling her famous red locks in a sort of relaxed beehive. At this point, Rihanna is too pretty for her own worth, which is probably why she decided that -- even if the focus would be on her valiant efforts for the evening -- the least she could do was avoid wearing anything too loud. In fact, if you want your Rihanna loud, she has an album just for you (it's called...Loud).
