Don't hate Jared Leto because he's beautiful. Hate Jared Leto because he's a talented actor and successful musician as the lead singer of 30 Seconds To Mars, and you're not. He's so pretty, you just stop in your tracks because, like, how is one person so beautiful (even after all these years since "My So-Called Life")? Seriously, you have to ask yourself what kind of genes Mr. and Mrs. Leto carried that made such a perfect specimen of human being. Can we borrow?
As pretty people are wont to do, Jared Leto has now been named "the face" of Hugo Boss, meaning you will probably at least consider buying Hugo Boss products because -- even if you don't start thinking Jared's real name is Hugo Boss -- he wants you to. “Hugo inspires men to succeed through creativity, which is something I’ve aimed for my entire career," Leto was quoted as saying on the brand's Facebook page. "Like the Hugo man, I look for inspiration in everything around me and seek out unusual and unexpected things and experiences."
Whatever you say, dude. When someone who looks like Jared Leto asks you to do something, you listen. The dude could advertise wiping sparkles and eye make-up all over your face, and you'd listen (hey, does Ke$ha have something to tell us?).

The only thing I've done for nine hours straight is sleep. Well, there was that wingsfest in college, but the point is, when in your life have you tried to do something that takes talent, determination, and possibly a little bit of daredevilish the-good-way kind of crazy? For NINE HOURS?
Today at 11:30 p.m PT/ 2:30 p.m. ET, Chidera "Chiddy" Anamege of Chiddy Bang will attempt to break the World Rap Record by freestyling for NINE HOURS STRAIGHT. Nine uninterrupted hours of freestyle rapping. Actually, the record is nine hours, 15 minutes and 15 seconds, achieved by M-Eighty of Indianapolis. So Chiddy will actually have to rap for at least nine hours, 15 minutes and 16 seconds. This is serious, people. There's even a guy from the Guiness Book of World Records here and everything.
So, help Chiddy out! Tweet your ideas and topics for Chiddy's rhymes to @realchiddy with hashtag #rapworldrecord.
Oh yeah, and to answer the question EVERYONE has asked: How's he gonna go to the bathroom? You'll have to watch Chiddy's O Music Awards freestyle and see.
+ Watch Chiddy Bang freestyle for nine hours straight in an attempt to break the rap world record, watch the O Music Awards live on Thursday, April 28, at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT, and stay tuned for live updates and behind-the-scenes access on Buzzworthy, on Twitter at @MTVBuzzworthy, and at Omusicawards.tumblr.com.

"The world needs Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber is like the white Tupac. Compared to a lot of people." So says Mark Wahlberg, formerly Marky Mark (of the one and only Funky Bunch), speaking THE TRUTH.
Those are strong words coming from such an entertainment powerhouse -- an actor, producer, underwear model, and former rapper (never forget). He last wowed audiences and critics with his star turn in "The Fighter," and now he's eying Justin Bieber for a new movie role. Yes, that Justin Bieber. He told New York Magazine that he pitched the movie to Paramount before talking to the Biebs about it but once he heard about it, Justin "loved the idea... He sent me a video of himself and, yeah, I think he’s really talented.”
C'mon dude, we could have told you that. If you've seen Justin dance or heard him sing even once, you've realized why he's been labeled a "musical prodigy," a multi-faceted musician who went from just your everyday YouTuber to international superstar practically overnight(with some help from mentor Usher). And "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" already slayed the box office, so if Justin's up for an Oscar next year or something, we won't exactly be surprised.

It was the Tweet heard 'round the world. No, not "I'm sorry Taylor." It was Kanye West's revelation, his incredulity expressed upon waking up on a flight and realizing his water bottle was still in front of him and that -- GREAT! -- that water bottle had then become his responsibility.

There isn't a man, woman, or child amongst us who hasn't experienced that same existential in-flight dread as Kanye. That silent rage directed at a flight attendant for not assuming his or her rightful ownership of that water bottle -- that water bottle should be considered a loan to you, a fleeting possession to be held only casually in your ownership until you've consumed its contents. It's an unspoken rule that that water bottle is the airline's responsibility the minute you nod off and should be silently swept away while you take a sky nap. And Kanye realized that, and he gave that universal human problem a name and a face. With one tweet, he became the poster boy for in-air water bottle management. Thank you, Kanye. Thank you.
Little did Kanye know that the water bottle tweet heard 'round the world would win him one of his important awards of his career. No, not another Grammy. Not his first Oscar or CFDA award. An MTV O Music Award.
Watch MTV TJ Gabi Gregg award Kanye West with the Best Tweet Award that's so rightfully his. Unfortunately that award is not a solid gold water bottle (though there's still time!) And watch the O Music Awards live at OMusicAwards.com on Thursday, April 28, at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT. "Bed, Bath & Beyonce" sounds like a fantasy afternoon to me -- waking up in a swanky hotel room with breakfast in bed, hitting up the spa for a full day of luxury services, and then grabbing lunch with my BFF Beyonce where we talk about dudes... or I talk about dudes and she listens because she's in a perfect marriage with Jay-Z. But anywaaaay.
It sounds like screamo band Everyone Dies In Utah heard about my fantasy afternoon and planned exactly the opposite for their latest video "Bed, Bath & Beyonce." Um, guys, Beyonce doesn't show up anywhere in this video. All we see is performance footage, a bunch of flashing colored lights, and something about a forest. Not fair!
This isn't really news, though. Lots of screamo/hardcore bands have a tendency to name some of their songs something a little...misleading. English deathcore band Bring Me The Horizon has a song called "No Need For Introductions, I've Read All About You On The Back Of Toilet Doors," and Sacramento-based Dance Gavin Dance is just plain lying with their title "And I Told Them I Invented Times New Roman."
Tisk, tisk, bros. Kind of a low blow to get a girl all worked up about a new Beyonce video!

Good for Jennifer Lopez. She was named Most Beautiful Woman In The World by People magazine, has found a career resurgence as a judge on "American Idol" and has seen "On The Floor," the first track from her upcoming new album, Love?, dominate the charts. Now we have a chance to listen to "Hypnotico," another club-banger off the upcoming album. The song was written by Lady Gaga and produced by RedOne, which are both signs that the song should be dope. And guess what? It's DOPE.
"Hypnotico" seems to continue right where J. Lo's 1999 hit "Waiting For Tonight" left off, i.e. making us want to put on our short shorts and dance. The thump that rides the song's undercurrent of ethereal echoes and a group chant of the chorus ("Hyp-not/hyp-not-ico!") is a pretty solid reminder that this is most definitely a Gaga jam, which quickly gained J. Lo's approval. "She’s a great songwriter," Lopez told Rolling Stone magazine. "I don’t just love her lyrics, but also her melodies."
Let's hope this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Love him or hate him, Donald Trump has parlayed his way from real estate magnate to American household name, thanks to his persistence on demanding time in the spotlight (and on unearthing President Obama's "real" birth certificate). Yet despite attaining that level of attention, Trump still refuses to change his hair. Nobody is quite sure what "style" it is exactly, but somehow Ke$ha successfully paid homage to his weird hair nest at the 28th Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards last night in Los Angeles.
Ke$ha is a very attractive girl, even when her tousled hair and freckled skin are covered in glitter and mud. So to see her rock a Trump-style comb-over is jarring at first, but then you take in the whole look -- rock star glam meets "The Golden Girls" -- and it's pretty much a home run. A little bit '80s, a little bit Donald Trump (who is actually very '80s), Ke$ha is channeling a sort of retro, ostentatiously wealthy look, and we kinda love it. "Dynasty," anyone?
Now let's just get Ke$ha on "The Celebrity Apprentice" and see what it's like to have her seated opposite Mr. Trump himself. We imagine it would be like one big old circus mirror, although The Donald probably doesn't do glitter.

A spiritual leader is abducted and taken to prison by masked authorities. She is forced, Clockwork Orange-style, to watch rapidly moving images of French fries, prescription pills and idyllic homes in an effort to brainwash her out of her current revolutionary mind-set. So begins Lupe Fiasco's latest video, "Words I Never Said," a politically charged new clip that doubles down on the song's provocative lyrics.
Clad in black combat boots and a dark hoodie, Lupe commandeers a bus's PA system to rail against government officials before getting hauled off to an interrogation room. After facing a tribunal of ambassadors from the U.S., France and Israel, among others, an imprisoned Lupe plots his escape and plans how to free his leader. That's when the kung fu starts.
You'll have to watch the video to find out if his escape mission is successful, but we can tell you it ends with the MC's Lasers Manifesto, an 160-word exhortation demanding, in part, that "the invisible walls that separate by wealth, race & class be torn down... We want an end to the processed culture of exploitation, over-consumption & waste."
Whatever you think of the message, the video, directed by Moroccan-American filmmaker Sanaa Hamri, is an artistic triumph, blending elements of a dystopian future with recognizable present grievances. The idea of suppressing the individual and railing against authoritative forces reminds us of M.I.A.'s "Born Free," which debuted one year ago this week. Coincidence?

No, my caps locks button wasn't stuck. That shouting was INTENTIONAL, because the unofficial owner of FRIDAY herself, Rebecca Black, will be ATTENDING THE O MUSIC AWARDS. No, the O Music Awards aren't Friday. They're Thursday. But surely they'll feel fun fun fun like FRIDAY when the biggest thing to hit the internet since the SQL Slammer Worm graces us with her presence, live via a secret location in Las Vegas. You laugh, but Rebecca Black has her own BILLBOARD in Los Angeles, and Lady Gaga called her a genius, two things surely you cannot claim. So who's laughing now? (You are? Really? Dude she's 13. Cut it out.)
We can't tell you where in Las Vegas Rebecca Black will appear nor which seat she will take, so you'll have to watch the O Music Awards live on Thursday, April 28, at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT to see. And stay tuned for live updates and behind-the-scenes access on Buzzworthy, on Twitter at @MTVBuzzworthy, and at Omusicawards.tumblr.com.
