Admittedly, we don't know much about the world of professional wrestling (you caught us). But we're going to go out on a limb and say that the cameo Mya made on "WWE Raw" to sing "Happy Birthday" to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is not just weird, it's OMG-WTF-where-am-I? weird. What planet are we on where Mya, the Grammy Award-winning singer and dancer, comes out from nowhere to wish The Rock a happy birthday...during a wrestling show? Do these two know each other? What?!
We totally think it's cool that The Rock wants to remain loyal to the audience that made him a star by returning to the WWE ring, but who decided that Mya should show up to perform her best Marilyn Monroe "Happy Birthday" impression? And The Rock was so happy after his birthday serenade that he followed it with a guttural scream: "IF YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN'!!!" Yes, that's how I say "Thank you" after someone sings "Happy Birthday" to me, too.
The whole thing -- just really weird. Sorry, wrestling. Sorry, The Rock. Sorry, Mya. But we don't get it. WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?
