Our BFF's over at Idolator have pointed out that Colombian songstress Shakira has ditched the flowing blonde mane that has been a part of her look since, well, forever in favor of this fantastic new brunette bob, and all we can say is OHMYGODAWESOME! We didn't think it was possible to have a crush on Shakira any more than we already do, but since she's gotten this whole "hipster barista" haircut thing going on, it seems that our Crush-O-Meter™ (totally scientific and real, by the way) reading has gone through the roof, into the sky and out of the atmosphere.
The 30-second preview clip for her new video, "Rabiosa," shows Shakira at a Colombian party having a grand ol' time with Silly String and some very sexy people. However, she's also taking her music back to her Colombian roots. In fact, the song is very Salsa driven, which is a big departure from her "Waka Waka" anthem for the 2010 World Cup.
Even if this edgy coif is only a wig, we'd love to see her wear it more often. Don't believe us? Our hips don't lie.
