Big Sean is a relatively new name on the scene, but the dude might have the song of the summer with his jam "What Goes Around," which is a laid-back ode to making it big and keeping it real, complete with a huge all-girl choir belting out, "What goes around comes around."
In case you're not familiar with the Detroit rapper, Big Sean is a disciple of Kanye West. He signed to the mogul's GOOD MUSIC label a few years back, spit rhymes on Yeezy's GOOD Friday songs last year and also managed to release his own Finally Famous mixtapes on top of all that. Sean's hard work seems to be paying off because he's got a busy summer ahead of him -- including the much-anticipated release of his debut LP, Finally Famous: The Album, which comes out June 21.
That's a rather presumptuous title for a debut album, don't you think? Will his second album be called Still Famous? Will his third be called Yup, In Case You're Wondering, I'm Even More Famous?
You've gotta love a guy with a healthy sense of self.
