Britney Spears' special dude-buddy, Jason Trawick, might not be managing her anymore, but that doesn't mean he's abandoned her in any way. In fact, sources say part of the reason he took his new job with the startup entertainment brand Famos was so he could spend more time with Britney and her two young sons. (It probably doesn't hurt that he'll be working with Mick Jagger, either.)
While hanging out backstage at the Billboard Music Awards this past weekend, Britney and Jason were the very picture of a loving, happy relationship. Despite her intimidating dominatrix outfit, Britney is smiling like a teen on her way to the prom. And why shouldn't she be? Jason's got that slightly scruffy "bad boy" look Britney seems to favor, but with none of the greasiness that's marked some of her former male associates. Most important, dude has got himself a career other than "being Britney Spears' boyfriend." With the pressures of her "Femme Fatale" world tour looming, it's great to see Britney's got some emotional support. Mazel tov to both of them.
