You're used to seeing her in over-the-top sexy getups, but Katy Perry looks over-the-top dorktastic in the cover art for her new single, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)." Cowritten by Katy, Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Bonnie McKee, the song has a retro-cheesy vibe to it, and the art seems to have taken that inspiration and run with it. The cover for the remixes is also a thing of beauty, giving us a closer look at the bespectacled, headgear-festooned Perry in the background. Both Katy Perrys are smiling big, as if to say, "I'm not going to let these orthodontic indignities get me down. I'm going to put on some more blue eye shadow and go to the dance, then maybe make out with Tommy under the bleachers!"
If the art is any indication, the video for "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," the fifth single off Teenage Dream, should be amazing. Perry hinted at it in a tweet earlier this month:

I can't wait to see what Katy and her crack team of eighties-ologists came up with. What with her love of big fashions and funky bass lines, I'm starting to think she was born in the wrong decade.
