After releasing various bits and pieces over the course of several months, Lady Gaga has finally shown us the Full Monty: Born This Way has officially dropped! (Or, as Gaga might put it, emerged screaming from her studded, latex-clad womb.) Fan reactions on Twitter are predictably effusive, like that of baseball legend Jose Canseco, who would not mind becoming Lord Gaga. (I hear she's single now. Maybe she'll go for it!)

A cursory search of the #ladygaga or #bornthisway hashtag reveals hundreds more tweets just like this one from little monsters ecstatic to finally get their paws on a hard copy of the international superstar's second major release. With such glowing praise, one might think she'd be tempted to sit back and let her fan army do the rest to make the album a smash hit. But Gaga isn't leaving anything up to chance!

She's doing an insane number of things to promote it, including:

+ Selling digital downloads for 99 cents on Amazon in a limited-time offer that's bound to boost sales in the short term.

+ Signing autographs at the Best Buy in Union Square later today. She's gotta thank those baby monsters in person, of course!

+ Performing on the "American Idol" season finale this Wednesday and maybe even doing a duet with fellow guest Stevie Nicks. (She hasn't ruled it out!)

+ Blasting her music in every Starbucks.

Oh, and we haven't even begun to count the things she's already done, like:

+ Stopping by "The View" for an in-depth interview with Barbara Walters.

+ Filming "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside," an exclusive special that will air on MTV this coming Thursday at 9 p.m. ET.

+ Starring, alongside her fans, in a commercial for Google Chrome. (The fan videos are all real submissions!)

+ Appearing on this past weekend's season finale of "Saturday Night Live" and k-i-l-l-i-n-g it!

If you haven't heard at least some of Born This Way by the time this week is over, then don't be surprised if Mother Monster shows up at your house, boombox in hand for a personal listening session. I mean, what won't she do for her fans -- past, present and future?

And don't miss MTV News' hour-long exclusive interview, "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside," airing Thursday, May 26, at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

We first labeled Hey Champ a Buzzworthy Obsession back in June after we saw their sleek video for "Cold Dust Girl," which is filled with sweaty hipsters partying, under-the-table games of footsie, and two girls (who happen to look like American Apparel models) stealing a kiss from each other.

In the months since our initial discovery, we've only become more obsessed, thanks to the song "Anything At All," off the band's new EP of the same name. At first, the tune might sound upbeat and bubbly, but listen closer and you'll hear frontman Saam Hagshenas singing, "I was all for the future when the future was possible," and realize the song is far more desperate than it sounds.

Who loves sad songs with happy instrumentation? We do! We do! If you're a fan of Death Cab For Cutie and Two Door Cinema Club, you should totally indulge in the sunny grooves (and somewhat melancholy lyrics) of Hey Champ.

This ain't a scene, it's a goddam blog post! Fall Out Boy bassist, emo heartthrob and clothing line entrepreneur Pete Wentz was spotted at the 13th Annual Young Hollywood Awards over the weekend in Hollywood, California, with this mystery brunette on his arm. Who do you think it could be?

A) His sister
B) His new girlfriend
C) His Black Cards bandmate, Bebe Rexha

If you guessed C, you're right -- although these two do make quite a handsome-looking couple. The duo mugged it up on the red carpet before the awards show and then went on to play a couple songs during the festivities. No word as to when the band's debut album will come out, although Wentz has been quoted as saying, somewhat jokingly, fans should expect it sometime during "the month of summer" of this year.

Pink ponies prancing on the beach is a sight that might make many people stop and smile, but "Trouble" singer Pink had a different reaction when confronted with such a scenario last Thursday in L.A.

"If there are any animal activists around Malibu at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame," she tweeted. Whose "stupid" music video was it? None other than Selena Gomez, who was shooting the clip for "I Love You Like A Love Song." Needless to say, it wasn't long before Disney fans inundated Pink with angry (!!!) tweets and hair dye hit the fan.

"oh lord, THAT'S whose video it was?" the pregnant pop-rocker responded, retweeting a news item that Selena Gomez fans were cross with her. "Disney fans unite. Here we go."

Selena's rep quickly issued a statement to People magazine saying that it was "important to the production company, record label and Ms. Gomez that no animals were harmed and all proper precautions were taken." The powdered dye was nontoxic and vegetable-based, and they even had an official from the Humane Society on set to make sure the horses were happy. But Pink's righteous anger knew no bounds!

"whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER'S, i won't stop speaking out about animal cruelty. i've taken responsibility in the past, so should she," she reiterated. You have to hand it to the PETA supporter: She sure is vocal about her cause -- or maybe she's jealous someone else is using her signature color in a video. Who knows?!

So much Taylor Swift, so little time. The Nashville songbird will be debuting her video for the song "The Story Of Us" on May 24 at 7 p.m. ET. You know what that means? Mark your calenders, sound the alarm and batten down the hatches because this is clearly the most important thing you'll be doing tomorrow.

To tide you over, we've got an sneak peek of the video, which has a collegiate theme to it. From what we can gather from the following 30 seconds, Taylor does a lot of laughing and making out in between the stacks of books at a library. (Naughty, naughty, T-Swizzle!) What happens next? You'll have to tune in to "MTV First: Taylor Swift" tomorrow to find out.

Plus, not only will we be premiering the full "Story Of Us" video, but Taylor will sit down with our very own Sway to continue their chat for a 30-minute live stream on MTV.com. The singer will answer a few questions from fans, too. If you want to ask Taylor something, submit your pressing queries on MTV.com or via Twitter using @, hashtag #AskTaylor.

Beyoncé took home Billboard Music's Artist Of The Millennium Award last night after it was determined that -- yes -- she is, in fact, better than Leonardo da Vinci, Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons or any other virtuoso from the past 1,000 years. After all, who would you rather see bust a move in that skimpy outfit: Pablo Picasso or Sasha Fierce?

(Before you say it, we already know that DaVinci, Warhol, Koons and Picasso aren't the same kind of "artist" as Beyoncé, but thinking about them reenacting the choreography in her "Single Ladies" video makes for a pretty hilarious mental picture.)

Beyoncé's song "Run The World (Girls)" (produced by Switch and Diplo, Major Lazer duo and superstar DJs in their own right) has been steadily climbing the charts and was the talk of the awards show ceremony. Just check the Twitter accounts of stars like Missy Elliott and Bey's own sister Solange Knowles, who were among those in attendance to tweet their approval.

It was a killer performance if we do say so ourselves! Way to keep it fierce, Beyoncé.

+ Speaking of the Billboard Music Awards, did you see Selena Gomez lay a smooch on Justin Bieber when he won for Top New Artist? [Insert collective "Awwwww" here.] (MTV News)

+ What's cuter than Kelly Clarkson? How about Kelly Clarkson and her adorable new puppy! (Just Jared)

+ Katy Perry wanted to introduce husband Russell Brand to her favorite country, Japan, while she played a series of concerts in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. Unfortunately, due to his criminal past, the British funnyman was persona non grata and given the boot. (PopEater)

+ What's inspiring Florence And The Machine's Florence Welch to write songs for her new album? Ghosts and dead relatives, of course. (NME)

Earlier this month, we invited die-hard Kings Of Leon fans to submit their fan testimonials for a chance to win "The Road to Slane Castle," a contest set up by MTV and social-media site Superglued to see the guys perform at Ireland's Slane Castle later this month. We received thousands of entries and while, in a perfect world, everyone who participated is a winner, in a more accurate world, only two people will be brushing up on their Gaelic. Congratulations to Caila Noel Curtis of Denton, Texas, and Sam Magro of Pennsauken, New Jersey, who will be flown out to see the Tennessee quartet's May 28 show in person!

Caila and Sam proved to be the ultimate Kings Of Leon fans, showing their passion through social media sites, posting photos from past shows, and submitting videos displaying the level of their fandom. Now they get to document the show and their experience on the road through video diaries, live streams and live-blogging.

Damn. We don't even get to do that and we work here.

You can check out the winning videos below and congrats to our runners-up, Bobby Myers, Chris Austerman, Brianna Schneider, Lee Rickard and Brittany Kerr, who will receive prizes ranging from band gear to tickets to future shows.

Crisscrossing the globe on a headlining world tour apparently hasn't kept singer-songwriter Jason Derulo busy enough this past year. Now, the "Whatcha Say" and "In My Head" singer is almost ready to debut "Don't Wanna Go Home," the first video off his upcoming Future History, and we've got the exclusive preview.

Singing over a sample of Robin S.'s 1993 house classic "Show Me Love," Derulo dances around a smoke-filled warehouse with his friends -- or girls he met that night at the club -- passed out behind him. Presumably hopped up on house music and smoke fumes, the 21-year-old singer dances around the cavernous building until encountering a fur- and leather-clad dance partner, which leads to more questions than answers.

Is this the post-5 a.m. afterparty where everyone's passed out except two people? Did they all go back to Derulo's house and, if so, does he have smoke machines turned on 24 hours a day or only when he feels like dancing? With three songs going at least double platinum, can't he afford more than one couch for his friends? Throw us a bone, man.

We're hoping all will be revealed when the full version of "Don't Wanna Go Home" premieres next Wednesday, May 25, on MTV and MTV.com.

Oh, Courtney Love. Courtney, Courtney, Courtney.

It's been a wild ride, hasn't it? For all the trials and tribulations you've had to endure over the years, it's good to know you can dust the dirt off your shoulders, throw on a couture gown, head out to a fancy movie premiere and still look flawless.

Last night, you showed up at the premiere of the new Sean Penn movie, This Must Be The Place, which is named after one of my favorite Talking Heads songs, and looked every bit like the Hollywood starlet. I mean, seriously. Da-yum. Plus, to pull out the whole lip bitey thing on top of it? That's so "Rocky Horror Picture Show"! You'll inspire a legion of girls to bite their lips in 2011 in the same way you inspired the grunge-era female masses to bleach their hair and rock tattered slip dresses.

C-Love, it's time to channel that energy, write another Live Through This and get the original Hole lineup back together again. Who's with us?!?
