Naturally, when Joe Jonas, who's now officially MIND-BLOWINGLY, CRIMINALLY' HOT, decided to go solo, he did it up big. If you were one of the THOUSANDS of fans who tuned into his live stream that accompanied his "See No More" lyric video premiere this past Friday, then you know what that cat scratch above is all about. But, if you're thinking what the hell is a lyric video, let us explain.
To promote the release of his new single, "See No More," off his upcoming FastLife album, Joe "middle child" Jonas held an exclusive live stream for his fans which featured artist Curtis Kulig dramatically scrawling (though it's literally better than our actual penmanship) out the lyrics to Joe's new song on a massive blank white wall. The whole event went down over the course of an hour, but has been conveniently edited into a concise, and may we say oddly moving four-minute video (that massive paint drip shown on the word "heartache" really got us).
After listening to "See No More" an almost embarrassing number of times, it's clear that Joe's solo career will take him down a decidedly more mature, and dare we say it manlier path. Posing as a heartbreak veteran (though Taylor Swift might say differently) Joe emotionally croons "I try to look away, from what you did, heartache, became my friend." But, we've got to wonder if this is hypothetical heartbreak, because WHAT KIND OF NORMAL GIRL WOULD BREAK UP WITH JOE JONAS?
