An unreleased track from everyone's favorite spirit hood enthusiast has surfaced, and it uses the same "hey-it-works-and-you-know-you'll-listen" formula we've come to expect from Ke$ha: one part sex + two parts youthful insouciance + five hundred parts glitter = summer club hit. She's surprisingly reliable that way, for someone who claims to brush her teeth with Jack Daniels.
"Tease Me" continues to showcase Ke$ha's love of hedonism with descriptions of shaking it in the club, getting turned on like a television, and dancing on top of Maseratis. I especially appreciate the way she gives young listeners credit for knowing about sexy stuff that happened before they were born; "private dance like I'm Tina Turner" is a cultural reference in the grand tradition of "But we kick 'em to the curb unless they look like Mick Jagger." (See, parents? Ke$ha is educating your kids even as she corrupts them.)
Although it's the purported topic of the song, the concept of "teasing" might be a little beyond Ke$ha's sweaty grasp; there's nothing coy about any of this. But I don't care, because I know she knows that, and also because I'm already having too much fun dancing in my chair.
