Full disclosure: When an artist's album leaks, we feel a little (just a little) guilty for listening. And in the case of Selena Gomez, we've had not one but five leaks surface off her new album, When The Sun Goes Down, officially out June 28. First, we heard "Bang Bang Bang," a laid back, pop-centric record, followed by a preview of "We Own The Night," which showed us Selena's more mature side. And most recently we laid our ears on "Whiplash," a thumping, electro record, cowritten by the one and only Britney Spears.
And today's newest Selena Gomez leaks round out the total tally to five. First up, the mid-tempo pop jam "My Dilemma," which almost feels like it should be a ballad. As if she's confiding in her best friend, Selena sings, "Here's my dilemma, one half of me wants ya/And the other half wants to forget/My dilemma, from the moment I met ya, I just can't get you outta my head." (She must have recorded this song Pre-Bieber, no?)
The second leak, "When The Sun Goes Down," is a carefree dance record and the title track off her forthcoming album. Selena reminds us once again that she's not a kid anymore and that she definitely enjoys a party or two (but hopefully the good, clean fun ones, right?). Backed by a synth-heavy track, Selena sings, "The party doesn't start till the sun goes down/That's when everything starts moving / Everybody out when the sun goes down." Not exactly poppin' bottles or anything, but Selena's definitely staying out past curfew these days.
