According to Orlando-based foursome There For Tomorrow, their band name is a proclamation of how strongly they want their music to make an impact. That's quite a lofty goal, but we're digging the ambition. And actually, the "Deathbed" singers are making it happen -- these four rockers have been in the game since 2003.
In the live video, There For Tomorrow perform in a dimly lit studio, adorned with glowing paper lanterns and stacks of studio speakers. You know, kinda like an Urban Outfitters catalog. Flickering white lights radiate off the band as "Nowhere BLVD" lead singer Maika takes total control of the mic and showcases his powerhouse vocals, which remind us of a cross between Freddie Mercury and Patrick Stump. As the chorus hits, he sings with the kind of perfectly emo conviction only a true rocker boy can, "Now it's you and I...going nowhere, nowhere tonight."
There For Tomorrow's forthcoming album The Verge is out June 28. And with a little luck, we'll not only be hearing it today, but tomorrow as well.
