Is Jennifer Hudson cruising for an E.G.O.T. (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony)? Because it sure seems like it! (She's already one quarter of the way there, after all.) The multitalented performer shows off her acting chops in her new video for "No One Gonna Love You," as well as some fine dance moves and that powerful voice that first caught the country's attention when she competed on "American Idol." What can't she do?
In the video's opening scene, Jennifer Hudson wakes up next to her boyfriend and reminds him about their anniversary dinner that night. "You're not gonna be late, right?" she admonishes, to which he responds somewhat flippantly. WTF guy? You'd best be treating Jennifer Hudson better than that!
But as it turns out, it's all a huge fake-out. After being stood up for dinner, she returns home angrily, only to be surprised with champagne, balloons and a ring. I'm not sure why he felt the need to toy with her like that, but she seems happy enough. Note to men: This is the only acceptable way to stand someone up.
In between those two scenes is a whole lot of great singing and dancing, and needless to say, Jennifer looks phenoms-worthy throughout. I wonder what kind of award she'll win next?
