We always knew Selena Gomez was a doll. But allowing fans to listen to her album the day before it comes out? That makes her like, what? The nicest pop star ever? And let's not forget that just like queen Beyoncé, Selena has had her fair share of album-leak drama. During the past several weeks, we've heard several leaks of her songs, including "Bang Bang Bang," "Whiplash," "Love You Like A Love Song," "Dilemma" and others. In short, we've already listened to 60 percent of Selena's new record. Even though it doesn't come out until tomorrow.
But Selena has risen above the drama. And to make her gift to fans even sweeter (and us more jealous since it's now clear that she is literally perfect), Selena has also posted several video clips that feature some commentary about each song on her album. According to the videos, one of Selena's favorites is "Whiplash," co-written by Britney Spears. Selena says of her co-writer, "It was a huge honor to me, because I love her and I think she's like the Princess Of Pop.” Of her record "Bang Bang Bang," Selena describes how she "instantly related to the song" and later "rewrote some of the lyrics to tweak it to where it was perfectly about my life... It's basically saying how in a past relationship you may not have been treated properly and you kind of don't really like that person, but then there's a new person in your life that makes you feel like you're the only person in the world that matters," she said in the video. We're out of coy Bieber references, so let's just say it's no shocker who that new "person" in Selena's life is.
Selena Gomez & The Scene's new album, When The Sun Goes Down, is set to drop TOMORROW, and we highly recommend that you go out and cop it immediately.
