The artist formerly known as Lil Bow Wow has matured quite a lot since we first met him. When he made his rap debut at age 13, he wasn't even old enough to drink, and now, he has a kid of his own. "She inspires me to go harder. Even made me treat my mother better, it's like it made me into a man over night," he wrote of his fatherhood experience. All together now: "Awww."
So it was perhaps with this in mind that Bow Wow decided to confront what seem to be his own issues with alcohol (and by extension, many people's) on the latest single, "You Drinking Too Much," off his mixtape, "Greenlight 4." The video, which focuses directly on his face for the duration (kind of Blair Witch style), shows him pretending to get plastered and going to a pretty dark place. But even while plastered and making crazy faces, Bow Wow is adept with a lyric.
Basically, "You Drinking Too Much" lures you in with the message, and it makes you stay for the rhymes. And of course, as Bow Wow would advise, remember to imbibe responsibly.
