Even though the whole J. Lo and Marc Anthony divorce crisis is still making us super sad over here, we have to move on! Enter Pitbull and Marc Anthony's new video, "Rain On Me." Even though Marc is 50 percent responsible for one of the saddest celebrity breakups we've had to endure in recent months, he's also 50 percent responsible for the dope new Latin-infused dance song and video. We'll call it even.
Set in the desert in a decked-out bachelor pad stocked with booze, a leather couch and a crazy powerful fan (WHERE CAN WE GET ONE?), Pitbull and Marc conveniently bump into several gorgeous brunettes wandering alone on the sand. Of course being the chivalrous pop stars that they are, they invite the women in for some shelter and a much-needed glass of water (and/or vodka). After hanging with the ladies (some of whom double as snake charmers?), Pitbull and Marc take a break to dance around/fist-pump together in the middle of the desert. International Desert Dance Law, duh. Then "Rain On Me" comes to a romantic close as the desert suddenly transforms into an underground grotto filled with tons of bikini clad babes. Just like Casablanca.
Might the video imagery of a drought to water be indicative of a J. Lo and Marc reconciliation? Maybe they're "watering" the plant that is their relationship? Or maybe not. Obviously I'm having a hard time coping...
