When most people get drunk, they tend to lose their wallets, eat gyros too fast, and make inappropriate, regretful phone calls. If the video for The Script's "Nothing" is to be believed, a night of drinking for them involves jumping in rivers and hooking up with mermaids. Yep, the Irish have more fun than we do.
The video, shot in the Camden area of London, depicts an everyday night at the bar with friends until singer Danny O'Donoghue, heartbroken over a lost ex, jumps on top of Camden Lock and dives into Regent's Canal. Spotting his aquatic soulmate in the water, kissing and a near-death experience ensues. That's love, man.
When the band performed an acoustic version of the song at Buzzworthy HQ last month, O'Donoghue laughingly dedicated it to his "drinking problem." Speaking to MTV UK about the video recently, O'Donoghue said that the group "wanted to show a typical The Script night out…not that we all get drunk all the time, but it seemed to fit the song perfectly." If this is their typical night, we need to do a "Night Out With..." piece ASAP.
"Nothing" is the second single off The Script's recently released sophomore album Science & Faith.

Why does this not surprise us at all? Lady Gaga was spotted out and about reading an issue of Rolling Stone -- the very issue that featured HERSELF ON THE COVER. (Or maybe, as that Sharpie in her hand would have us believe, she was signing it for a fan? Nope, it's more fun to talk about Lady Gaga reading about herself.)
Let's be honest, though: This is one of the least wacky things that we've seen Gaga do in public. The woman is trying to make blue armpit hair happen, people. Her reading about herself probably only ranks in at like, a 4 out of 10 on the "How Weird Can I Get?" scale.
On an unrelated note, how bomb is that 101 Dalmatians-meets-The Flintstones blue pleather power blazer?! I could totally use something like it for my next Ladies Who Have Almost 12 Million Twitter Followers And Can Wear Whatever The Eff They Want Luncheon.

In the new video for Hoodie Allen's "The Chase Is On," the 22-year-old rapper combines Asher Roth's "I Love College" video with the split-screen scene from Rules of Attraction, all in an effort to woo 'Skins' star Sofia Black D'Elia.
After getting run up on by two females -- that's just what happens to all rappers in videos -- D'Elia plays hard to get, launching beer-fueled projectiles at Allen and disappearing. When Allen re-emerges at a college house party, his lyrics save the day. We were already impressed by Tea Marvelli, D'Elia's character in "Skins," but we'll give it up to our protagonist for snagging a flashlight from unsuspecting cops and taking off with Allen to some obscured garage.
The former Google employee-turned-rapper left his job at the search giant to pursue music full-time, earning a 2009 MTV Woodie nomination for Best Music On Campus. "The Chase Is On," which flips Chicago pop group Walter Meego's "Girls" into a story of romantic longing, is the lead single off Allen's upcoming album, Leap Year.

Fact: Every guy growing up in the 1980s dreamed of dunking like Michael Jordan. And when you're 10 years old, buying that freshest pair of Nikes was the first -- and, for most, last -- step to achieving this goal. In the new video for "Wings," Seattle rapper Macklemore uses distance and perspective to examine the gap between the fantastical dreams of youth and the pervasive culture of consumerism that prizes material objects over all else.
With producer Ryan Lewis' orchestral, crescendoing beat anchoring the track, the Zia Mohajerjasbi-directed video centers on a sneaker-obsessed boy who changes his worldview after the murder of a friend's brother over a pair of sneakers. "Wings" juxtaposes footage of children playing basketball and bowing to the god of Nike with the rapper educating the young group on the dangers of being beholden to corporate influence. "I'm an individual, yeah, but I'm part of a movement," Macklemore raps. "My movement told me be a consumer and I consumed it/They told me to 'Just do it'/I listened to what that swoosh said."
The video, which was funded by Kickstarter, purposely echoes scenes from Nike's famed Mars Blackmon campaign, lending dramatically heightened realism to the rapper's incisive lyrics. "When I first started writing ['Wings'], I didn’t really have the right idea," Macklemore said in a release. "Am I writing it like 'I’m so cool, I have all of these Jordans?' Am I writing about Nike and an anti-Nike song? In reality, it’s neither one of those. It’s just about sharing a fresh perspective.”

Cobra Starship is known for bringing the heat when it comes to a party jam. Or in other words, they make "Good Girls Go Bad" (aren't we soooo good at song-title jokes?!).
Cobra's latest attempt at converting goody-two-shoes girls into bona fide party chicks is "#1Nite." Though you have to wait until Aug. 30 to get Cobra Starship's forthcoming Night Shades album, you're all set to karaoke this new jam in your bedroom tonight because team Cobra Starship has put out a handy lyric video for their new song.
"#1Nite" is the quintessential party-pop jam rife with exuberant lyrics urging us to live life to the fullest because who the eff knows what's gonna happen tomorrow. Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta sings, "Tomorrow mornin' we'll be leaving/Let's keep it rockin' til daylight/Gotta live like we've got one life, one life, one life/Gotta live like we got one night, one night, one night."
Come to think of it didn't Ke$ha preach this same message of recklessness pre-world destruction on her "Shots On The Hood Of My Car" demo? Didn't Britney Spears ask us to keep dancing "Till The World Ends?" Guess these celebs really took The Rapture scare of 2011 to heart!

Jay-Z and Kanye West aren't your typical set of besties. Where someone like myself might be found going to see a movie with my friend, Jigga and Kanye might be found renting out the entire theater just so they can put their legs over the seat in front of them. Or buying an entire chain of movie theaters. Or buying a movie studio. While I might go to a karaoke bar with my BFF, Jay-Z and Kanye might be found in a recording studio, referring to themselves as "The Throne," laying down verses for their hotly anticipated collaboration album, Watch The Throne. The point is, Jay-Z and Kanye West live a life far swagg...ier than everyone else. Which is why we've compiled photos of some of their swaggest moments below.
+ After the jump, check out Buzzworthy's SWAGGEST PHOTOS OF JAY-Z AND KANYE WEST.

Responses to the tragic death of Amy Winehouse have been pouring in from fans of the late singer. In addition to a barrage of fan tributes in the form of flowers and pictures outside Amy's home in London, Winehouse's musician peers have been taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the untimely passing of this great talent. But, a select few like M.I.A. have chosen to remember Amy through music.
And M.I.A.'s not the only one. The latest of Amy's celebrity pals to hop on the musical tribute bandwagon is none other than super-producer/OutKast member Big Boi. Though it was initially created before her death, in Amy's honor Big Boi leaked a previously unreleased remix of "Tears Dry On Their Own," Amy's classic record off her hit album, Back To Black. Formally called "Tears Dry on Their Own (Organized Noize X Dungeon Family Remix)" Big Boi's urban-tinged take on Amy's retro tune is a bit more stripped down than harmony-filled and energetic original. But given the current circumstances, Big Boi's understated reinterpretation is right on point and still preserves Amy's courageous and soulful vocals.
While nothing can take away the sadness we feel for Amy's premature death, Big Boi's "Tears Dry On Their Own" tribute will certainly help us dry some of the tears we've already shed for Amy.
+ Listen to Big Boi's take on Amy Winehouse's classic "Tears Dry On Their Own."

Beyoncé looked like a '70s-inspired dream when she came out for her ex-Destiny's Child partner-in-crime Kelly Rowland's Here I Am album-release party in New York City last night. Going for a more subtle look than what we're used to seeing on her, the "Best Thing I Never Had" singer left the color at home and opted for a black one-shoulder pajama outfit jumpsuit paired with Mary Janes and a toned-down hairstyle.
If you're wondering why Beyoncé looks so casual here, it's because she's a good friend and the perfect woman, duh. This was Kelly Rowland's release party, not hers. And so as to not upstage the bride, Beyoncé went with an all black ensemb and stayed under the radar. Or maybe everything else was at the dry cleaner, IDK. Regardless, Beyoncé = flawless.
