When we caught up with Orlando punk-pop quintet There For Tomorrow last month, the former PUSH Artist of the Week discussed how they wanted to get back to basics and "be ourselves" for the band's recently released third album, The Verge. Judging by the video premiere of "Hunt Hunt Hunt," it looks like this ethos extends to the band's visual style.
The band's latest video is an exercise in minimalism -- just five guys in a room with their instruments. Aside from the occasional flash of the word "Hunt," it's a straightforward piece emphasizing the accompanying song. Directed by Robby Starbuck, who has helmed videos for Smashing Pumpkins, Metric and The Sounds, among others, the video favors quick cuts and frenetic pacing to underscore the song's jittery, hard-rock foundation reminiscent of a poppier Mars Volta.
"Hunt Hunt Hunt" is the lead single off The Verge, an album written over the course of one busy week. The band is currently touring this summer as part of the Vans Warped Tour.
