Ke$ha's always super helpful. Her last demo "Shots On The Hood Of My Car" taught us exactly how to deal with the traumatic events surrounding The Rapture Scare of 2011 (by taking shots on the hood of our cars). "Dancefloor," the latest Ke$ha demo to leak, is also rife with advice. Featuring singer/songwriter Bonnie McKee on the chorus, "Dancefloor" is a super hooky pop song layered with synths and Ke$ha's usual dose of glittery Auto-Tune. Most important, it offers up some helpful tips and tricks on how to survive an 24-hour dance party.
For a successful all-night dance-a-thon, Ke$ha advocates chilly temps and consistent pacing: "Keep it cool/Keep it steady." Additionally, she's a big believer in a no-talking policy: "Shut your mouth, let's talk with our bodies.../Dance all night and don't say a thing/Just hush, hush, hush, hush." Interesting approach, but I'm wondering: Does "talking with my body" also include listening when it tells me to ditch the all-nighter and crawl into bed to watch a romcom? Probs not. All partying, all the time.
Ke$ha's "Dancefloor": A quick and simple guide to surviving your first all-night dance soiree. Deep down I always knew she was put on this earth to serve a higher purpose.
