We're starting to think that Taylor Swift has a cover record up her sleeve. Or at least we hope she does. Like we've mentioned before, the "Sparks Fly" singer has been strumming a slew of famous songs while on her "Speak Now" tour, celebrating artists native to the city where she's performing. She's done renditions of TLC, Eminem, Pink and Fall Out Boy. When does she have time to learn all these other peoples' songs on top of writing all of her own? Talent hoarder!
Most recently, St. Louis got a taste of the Taylor Swift cover treatment when she paid tribute to rapper Nelly with her version of "Just A Dream." Looking pretty in purple, Taylor politely asks the audience to "sing really loudly with me on this one, 'cause it could just be this giant mess of St. Louis-ness." The audience doesn't disappoint, following her word-for-word. Bonus points to the fan who recorded this video and gave us viewers a 360-degree perspective. You fancy, huh?
Seriously, though, if there is a Taylor Swift cover album in the works, we've got a whole list of what we think the acoustic angel should cover: Alanis Morissette's "Ironic", anything by Katy Perry, and Destiny Child's "Bills, Bills, Bills." A Destiny's Child Taylor Swift cover? I DIE.
