We thought we couldn't love Mayer Hawthorne any more after we saw his latest "Soul Train"-esque video "A Long Time." But then we saw his latest album cover for his newest release How Do You Do. SWUH-ooooooon. It looks like what would happen if you asked babies, puppies, J. Crew's new fall collection, and cuteoverload.com to create cover art. A.K.A., it's perfect. The neo-retro crooner recently tweeted a teaser pic for his upcoming October release, and we for reals can't think of anything more lovable. (Except if we Cat Painted it.)
Where do we start? Hearts with initials, nerd glasses, a suit, and "How do you do"? No one asks that anymore, guys! I'd marry the first person to ask me "How do you do?" RIGHT NOW, not even kidding. (Okay, kind of kidding). Also, we'd like to publicly ask Mayer Hawthorne for a hug next time he's in town. Unless he's big on personal space, then we can just gently shake hands and tell him how much we appreciate him reppin' Motown. But if he's down to kiss, so are we. Just sayin'.
