We have few rules over here at Team Buzzworthy, but one is unyielding and unbreakable: If a song says "Featuring The Muppets," we're covering it. Video innovators OK Go join the group for a cover of "The Muppet Show" theme song, the latest single from the Muppet tribute album The Green Album.
After a few winking nods to their treadmill video "Here It Goes Again" and Google Chrome experimental video "All Is Not Lost," OK Go cede the spotlight to their felt counterparts, with the video displaying the same darting, manic feel of the original show. After penguins fly through the air and Swedish chefs show off their Scandinavian meats, the video inverts tradition, allowing The Muppets to control the humans. Though all we know is that elderly curmudgeons Statler and Waldorf naturally make an appearance, and all is right with the world.
Stick around for the ending, which features numerous fake endings and dream sequences involving both groups and some bizarre yelling in the bedroom. (Not that kind!) Just watch.
