Ke$ha's a pro at expressing herself. Her trendsetting résumé includes rocking face paint absolutely whenever, creating the "sprinkle face," and revolutionizing the ever-so-popular stuffed animal hat craze. Give her a craft store and she'll give you an ensemble. It's a free country, and girl embraces her constitutional right: the right to bare glitter!
That's why the "Blow" singer went ahead and proudly based her latest outfit on the American flag for her Rock In Rio performance. Ke$ha paired her safety-pinned stars and stripes vest with torn fishnet stockings and iridescent blue lipstick. Her sultry smize while saluting totally says, "I'm proud to be an American and also (given the word "party" emblazoned on what could be called a shirt) I salute my right to party pants-free" That's just Ke$ha -- looking cute while rocking her amendments like a pro.
If the army's looking for an uniform upgrade from those drab camos, we're pretty sure this could be in the running. We kid, guys! Fishnets aren't flattering on most people!!

Christina Aguilera does fragrance like a diva, and we're frankly all the better for it. In the commercial for her new scent, "Secret Potion," a gorgeous Xtina steps out into an elevator wearing a basic black dress. But then Christina starts spritzing herself with her "Secret Potion," and as the scent fills the elevator, her basic (but still OK) dress transforms into a way-more-exciting sequin gown. WAIT, WHAT? This perfume makes you smell like Christina Aguilera and transforms you into a glitter queen? Sign me up!
As she gives the camera a classic hair flip (LOVES!), Christina exits the elevator into a fancy party. And just when you think this commercial can't get any sultrier (because the smooth loungey jazz is already sultry, mind you) Christina whips her hair around and gives the camera one last knowing look, which ushers in a voice-over (VO, as we say in the "biz"), which imparts this fortune-cookie-esque nugget of troof: "Because every woman has their secret"... followed by a seductive "shhhhhhh."
Don't worry, Christina! We definitely won't tell anyone that you didn't have time in your busy schedule to go home and switch outfits. Also, you smell both expensive and highly talented.

You guys went nuts when we brought you "Blackout," Breathe Carolina's first single off of their latest album, Hell Is What You Make It. Now, we're going nuts over the video for the song. CAN'T. STOP. DANCING.
The video opens with a VERY HUNGOVER Breathe Carolina sitting at a diner with a couple clowns -- like, circus clowns, not like "Those guys are clowns!" You know, because why not? Then we're quickly brought back to the previous night where we watch Kyle Even and David Schmitt try to recall their blackout from start to finish. The usual suspects are on the scene: an insane rock show, a strip club, a NSFW hotel room food fight and a near drowning. Man, if I had a quarter...
In between the rowdy shots, we see Breathe Carolina on stage and in the club performing their synth-y ode to trying not to get too drunk: "I'm only getting started/I won't black out/Let's go a little harder/I won't black out." That's what you say now, boys. The next thing you know there's nacho cheese all over your pillow, and you can't see out of your left eye.

Greyson Chance nearly blew up the internet when he posted a YouTube video covering Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" on piano. The shout-out from Mother Monster and the 32 million (!!) video views rocketed the talented 14-year-old into the music scene with his own record, Hold On 'Til The Night. It also doesn't hurt that he's like, one of the most adorable teenagers on the planet. The "Waiting Outside The Lines" singer recently went back to his viral video roots and posted a video of himself playing another Gaga cover, this time "Yoü and I."
The video begins with Greyson behind the piano as he confidently nails the ballad's infamous chords. Dude works the room's acoustics like a pro, hitting high notes with seemingly little effort and a perfected raspy growl. His dreams of getting on "Glee" HAVE TO come true after this rendition -- talent this ridic needs to go prime time, folks!
Lady Gaga expressed her adoration for the cover and tweeted the video to her followers adding, "What a sweetie @greysonchance did a beautiful cover of 'Yoü and I.' It gave me chills!" If he gives Gaga the chills (aka the queen of chill-giving), you know dude's working with some major pipes.

Katy Perry's got her eye on the prize. She's already released five singles off of her smash album "Teenage Dream" and, like the boss that she is, tied some massive Billboard records while doing so. Obviously there's a lot riding on the release of Katy's sixth single, "The One That Got Away," so needless to say the cover art better be damn good.
And thankfully it is! The retro-esque photo features a gorgeous pink-haired Katy longingly gazing into the distance while wearing a dope-ass fascinator (aka a tiny weird hat). As opposed to her traditional skintight latex garb, Katy is rocking a demure black dress with an über-high neckline. Her makeup is subdued, and the dark eyeliner and purple-toned lipstick match perfectly with the hazy glare of the overall composition.
It kinda sorta looks like Katy is sitting in a car, so we're thinking perhaps the video will feature some badass car chase scenes of Katy trying to nab the one that got away? Or maybe she finds the guy, discovers he's super rich and this is a shot of her sitting in his Bentley dreaming about all the shopping she's gonna get to do. We kinda hope it's the former, though -- Katy Perry rocking a high-speed car chase would be totally dope.

There's a crap-ton of hype surrounding almost everything Justin Bieber does, but the hype surrounding his upcoming Christmas album "Under The Mistletoe" is like, NOT EVEN A LITTLE NORMAL. Fans are completely losing it over the thought of Justin's dreamy vocals singing pop culture's most favorite Christmas standards.
Before we tell you about Justin's snowflake-themed "Under The Mistletoe" album cover art, we need to send a quick memo to Justin: "Yo J, you are NOT making the wait for your Christmas album any easier on us. For example, when you tweet things like "this duet with me and @USHERRAYMONDIV for #christmas is CRAZY!!" it kills us. Additionally, the pic of you and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men in the studio working on your album makes waiting like, the most painful experience of life. Just sayin'. Now on to the album cover!
On the "Under The Mistletoe" cover, a perfectly coiffed Justin sports a black leather jacket (like a boss). A flurry of snowflakes surround him as his piercing gaze shudders through our soul (OK, we're being dramatic). And "Under The Mistletoe" is written across the bottom red glitter font -- dude knows his target audience. All in all, it's half badass, half holiday cheer: what all good Christmases are made of!

We recently told you about the weirdly perfect Tyler, The Creator/Tegan And Sara mashup by The Jane Doze, "Tegan The Creator." But the New York-based remix duo has outdone themselves, like times a bajillion. No seriously, there are like, a bajillion songs in their latest mashup, "Young Hearts Wanna Beat On Their Own." And it's SO PERFECT.
The Jane Doze turned to some of today's biggest pop princesses for their latest remix, and we couldn't have created a better menu. You guys ready for this list?
+ Katy Perry, "Hummingbird Heartbeat"
+ Robyn, "Dancing On My Own"
+ The Naked And Famous, "Young Blood"
+ Whitney Houston, "I Wanna Dance With Somebody"
+ will.i.am featuring Nicki Minaj, "Check It Out"
+ Ke$ha, "Your Love Is My Drug"
The Jane Doze combined ALL OF THESE SONGS to make ONE BIG SONG, and it might be THE BEST SONG EVER!!!! Katy Perry's "Hummingbird Heartbeat" and The Naked And Famous' "Young Blood" own most of the mid-tempo track, as Ke$ha's "Your Love Is My Drug" closes it out. And basically, this is what we want every song ever to sound like. P.S., Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" is THE TRUTH!!!!

Not getting to see Britney Spears live on her "Femme Fatale" tour is a huge blow to one's overall life happiness. So it's time to extend a hearty "THANKS!!!" to the kind folks at Epix for masterfully filming Brit's sold-out show in Toronto and helping to ameliorate some of our pain.
Epix recently released a preview of "Britney Spears Live: The Femme Fatale Tour" featuring a sparkle-clad Britney dancing her ass off on a moving platform. Now Epix is bringing us one step closer via a more in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the tour. The video features Britney discussing song choices and how she works to create a balance between tracks from the past and present. Brit's manager Larry Rudolph also chimes in, speaking a bit about the tour's overall concept: "We had this concept of her being sort of this international woman of mystery and we built [the tour] around that."
Other juicy sound bites include Britney calling her "Femme Fatale" tour an "hour and a half workout" (no kidding!) and Larry likening the tour to "having seven babies at the same time." The behind-the-scenes video concludes how any good behind-the-scenes video should: with a wide-angle shot of Britney standing amid tons of colored confetti. Movie magic right there, folks.
"Britney Spears Live: The Femme Fatale Tour" premieres on Epix Nov. 12.

Ashlee Simpson is what girl crushes are made of, guys -- she's adorable, funny, always in a good mood, and I want to borrow all of her clothes. The singer was spotted looking fashionable and happy after grabbing a bite to eat with a friend in L.A. recently, and I'm a little mad I never get these invites. Honestly, I'm just a phone call away, girl. I'm always available for brunch, lunch, dinner, coffee, shopping... My schedule's pretty much wide open, FYI.
Even though Ash has been through a little bit of tough time this year with her divorce from Pete Wentz, we're glad to see that she's moving on and staying positive. Although I'd be pretty positive, too, if my new boyfriend was Vincent Piazza. Just sayin'.
And real quick, leave it to Ashlee Simpson to make what is essentially a Boy George outfit look attainable. Those hats are not easy, people. No. 1 girl crush!!!

+ Katy Perry may surpass the title for which she's currently tied with Michael Jackson and score six No. 1s on the Billboard Hot 100 from the same album. Can Teenage Dream's "The One That Got Away" do it? We'll find out soon, but peep the cover art. (Neon Limelight)
+ Will a "sharking" meme go viral next? Check out photos of Ke$ha working a shark mask in Rio de Janeiro yesterday. There are also snaps of her boat ride in Sao Paolo. (ONTD)
+ Lady Gaga and Cher's "The Greatest Thing" may drop in the next couple of days. While we wait with baited breath, co-writer/producer RedOne says, "I think it's timeless. The beautiful thing about this song is, it's very uplifting...and it has a dance vibe on it." (MTV News)
+ He's in. He's out. He's in. T.I.'s officially free (again), having been released from a halfway house in Atlanta last night. "[He] basically checked out of the halfway house for the very last time," said a Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesperson. (Rap-Up)
+ Courtney Love's slated to write a memoir, which will cover everything -- her childhood, her marriage to Nirvana's Kurt Cobain, her relationship with Billy Corgan, the scoop about her band Hole and her Hollywood roles. (New York Times)
+ Looking for a unique Halloween gift? The Flaming Lips (but of course!) have you covered. They're releasing a 24-hour song (!!) that will be encased in a human skull!!! (Pitchfork)
+ Sylvia Robinson passed away yesterday of congestive heart failure. She was 75. Among her many accomplishments, she was a rap trailblazer who orchestrated Sugarhill Gang's seminal "Rapper's Delight." The song was the first to prove rap commercially viable. (RapFix)
