Some people loved it, some people hated it, but I don’t think Lady Gaga really GAFF about what people thought about her performance of “Yoü And I” as Jo Calderone at this year’s VMAs.

Gaga stayed in character during the entire show, including when she awarded Britney Spears the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award (and almost kissed her), and she even stayed in character backstage, according to our all-access backstage video.

So while you might have been watching at home thinking, “How’d she get her sideburns so perfect?” we were thinking, “Wait, Jo Calderone reminds me of someone…” Actually, Lady Gaga as Jo Calderone reminds us of a lot of people. And they’re all hot dudes.

1.) Adam Goldberg — While Jo Calderone was up on that VMA stage waxing philosophical about dating Lady Gaga, I was kinda like, “Wait, is that that character actor from ‘Saving Private Ryan’ who also had guest appearances on the wildly popular ’90s sitcom ‘Friends’?” Seriously uncanny.

2.) Ralph Macchio — We’re apparently not the only ones who picked up on this resemblance because #RALPHMACCHIO was trending on Twitter during the night of VMAs. Let’s get Jo Calderone his own Mr. Miyagi (not a euphemism).

3.) Young Al Pacino — Maybe it’s their Italian heritage, but luckily no one saw Jo Calderone’s “little friend” that he was reportedly wearing to the VMAs. Not so sure we’d be up for a “hello.”

4.) DJ Pauly D – I mean, a little bit, right? Okay, it’s just the hair. We’re guessing these two could talk for hours about their gel game. And “t-shirt time” would be pretty easy for Jo — white Hanes every day. Boom, done.

5.) Bruno Mars — Okay, this one’s a little bit of a stretch, but the greaser/pompadour thing that both Jo Calderone and Bruno are sporting might have you doing a double take. Just us?

6.) Adam Lambert — No so much in physical features, but Jo resembles Adam’s dramatic flair. Could you imagine these two covering like, Queen‘s “Bohemian Rhapsody” or something? Make those high school theatre departments proud, guys!
