So this is… different. If you’d told us last week that we’d be telling you about a collabo between T-Pain, Lily Allen and Wiz Khalifa we’d have told you to please remove yourself from our personal space. But, alas — Lily Allen, T-Pain and Wiz have joined forces on a collabo song called “5 O’Clock.” If you’re thinking this tune already sounds vaguely familiar, that’s because it does. “5 O’Clock” is a variation of Lily Allen’s song, “Who’d Have Known,” off her sophomore album, It’s Not Me, It’s You.

“5 O’Clock” opens with Lily’s cheeky hook, and it’s backed by a mellow hip-hop beat. Then, true to form, T-Pain pops in with his signature Auto-Tuned vocals. While Lily’s original hook sweetly talks about waiting patiently for her man in bed, T-Pain switches it up: His lyrics are all about hooking up in da club and partying hard, duhhh. He sings, ” ‘Cause you’ve been waiting on me since I said that I was heading to the club…/Like, gorgeous get your ass up in that car, and come get all of this love.” Wiz chimes in later with some slick rhymes, because you know how Wiz Khalifa does.

“5 O’Clock” is slated to appear on T-Pain’s forthcoming album RevolveR. Stay tuned for the video, shot recently in Amsterdam, due out this month.
