Here in America, television journalists tend to follow some of the same patterns when interviewing celebrities -- we get a quick look into their private lives before the celebrity talks at length about the project they are currently promoting. But over across the pond (jolly ol' England), things are... a little different.
Britney Spears is currently in England promoting the European leg of her "Femme Fatale" tour, and the reporters over there are having WAY MORE FUN with her than any of our reporters have with her! Yeah, I said it! Video clips have been popping up on YouTube almost by the hour of interview clip after interview clip of some reporter with an awesome accent asking Britney Spears a wacky question, and we are super jealous.
For example, one reporter from the show "This Morning" asked Brit if she could choreograph the show. This comes eight years after the same reporter begged to be a backup dancer for her, and by "begged" I mean "dropped it like it was hot right in front of Brit." In another snippet from the show "Loose Women," the interviewer gets the "I Wanna Go" to say "Stick a rubber hose up your nose" in a British accent (!!!!!!). Why? WHO KNOWS! And in a clip from "Daybreak," a reporter finally gets Britney that sign (literally) she was looking for back in 1998 . Get it? "Give me a sign/Hit me baby, one more time." These Euros are cray!
Check out some of the interviews from Britney Spears' European press tour after the jump, as well Britney's BBC Radio 1 interview, where she reveals just how weird she is -- she likes tomato soup and sandwiches!!! What a freak!!!!
